As - Polonia 1 San Marco 1
Bs - Polonia 1 San Marco 4

No good in the Bs today. Played well enough but couldn't score and got punished.
In the As it was a much better performance after the debacle in Pirie last week.
The game was played in good spirits and a draw was a fair result.

Well done to San Marco on survival as they were a lob way back halfway during the season.

For us it all comes down to next week v Florina.

We want to stay in this division and will do everything we can to survive - even if it ruins florina's chances of promotion

Ressies
Aldinga 1 - 1 Plympton

First Team
Aldinga 2 - 1 Plympton

Cup final next week after we saved our season with a 30 yard rocket in the last few minutes. Blue Eagles defeating seaford means we need to win against them next week. Its still in our hands and we go in with confindence of getting the job done. Playing away this season seems to work for us. We haven't picked up one point at home all year. Even though it was our home game today we played at Plympton due to Southern footy league finals at our ground. Wish we could play away every week!

Southern Knights ( 3 ) Salisbury Inter ( 2 )
Knights back from being 0-2 down...Inter opened the scoring in less than a minute....0-1 at half time.
Inter's captain Michael Marchioro sent off for something he never did (although there should have been a send off)...officials completely got the wrong man there.
Personally, I think the red card should be revoked.
Inter down to 10 men scored their second just a few minutes after half time but Tom Foglia pulled a goal back a few minutes later.
Knights drew level midway through the half with a 30 metre 'goal of the season' from young Jordan Ruch.
Not long after it was 10 men apiece from a fairly innocuous incident.
Finally with about 15 minutes to go, Matthew Daughtry put Knights in front and Knights held on for a much needed win.

Southern Knights ( 0 ) Salisbury Inter ( 0 )

0-2 down, looked like it was all over, very gutsy fight back, after last weeks shocker, probably our best half of football this year. Vale did a number on us last time so will be a very hard game next week, but hopefully we do enough
