One more thing on the Arsenal game, Adam is a total disgrace stamped on Giroud twice in the game and studded Arteta, somehow stayed on the pitch.
See, we agree sometimes

Must admit, Liverpool are playing attractive football, reminiscent of United at their best (although not as good at the back), with a pair up front scoring for fun. Personally, if Spurs can't win the league (which they obviously won't), I'd be quite happy to see Liverpool win it, partially to stop Chelsea and the Goons, but also I would love to see Gerrard rewarded for his loyalty before he retires.

Wenger surely has to see now he messed up by not buying a striker in the window just gone. Giroud looks very tired. Sanogo still yet to show anything. Maybe he should have loaned him out instead of Benik Afobe...

Didnt deserve waff from that performance, although, id still love that champagne Adam to cop one from anybody!

Good performance by us particularly in the 2nd half where we could have scored more than 3. Southampton are a good team and put us under the pump at the end of the first but we managed to hold out and move into 2nd. I still think it'll be hard to stop Chelsea or City. Chelsea play cabernet and win and don't seem like losing anytime soon.

Tend to agree, reckon a 2nd or 3rd is reality this season, but you can always hope, especially as we are still to play both Chelsea and City at home.

What the hell was Pardew thinking???
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. That's why I succeed." -Michael Jordan

I seem to remember the Goons saying Bale was soft when Adam tried to break his ankle. Karma's a port.

 Interesting way to put it. We have grounded our fair share of wins despite poor performances. Must be annoying for Liverpool fans when they're scoring for fun every week yet we're only 2 wins behind.

You sure NOC? I said Bale was brilliant barring his diving antics.

Adam on the other hand has always been a first class pig. I said this back when everyone was raving about him in his blackpool days.

Here we go with the #freeSuarez again…And now you’ll all be bitter about it cos the wheels are about to fall of your season. Around Xmas time you lot didn't care!

Bottom line, if he really wanted to join him and his agent would have pushed and made it happen.

Luis Suarez is being kept illegally at Liverpool FC. Arsenal met Luis Suarez' £40m buyout clause yet Liverpool owner John W Henry LIED and said Luis Suarez did not have a buyout clause!

We want Liverpool FC to do the following:

Release Luis Suarez to Arsenal Football Club free of charge
Appologise to Arsenal Football Club
Pay Arsenal Football Club a total of £4,500,000 compensation

How incredibly small time!

In response, the Potters said on their website: "Charlie and the club are surprised and disappointed to learn of this and will appeal vigorously against the decision."

Ok I'll answer, here we go. The bid wasn't accepted because it didn't have to be and the PFA did review and sided with Liverpool, here's a refresher:
He told the Press Association: "If you are going to have a supposed buy-out clause, it should be that - but it is different as it says [that] if there is no qualification for the Champions League and if there is a minimum offer of £40 million, then the parties will get around the table to discuss things. But it does not say the club has to sell.

"It quite clearly states £40 million is a minimum offer for discussions, but it becomes really difficult with such clauses. There is a 'good faith' clause in relation to serious discussions but I can’t say it is a cast-iron buy-out clause.
Source - http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/15164 ... ez?cc=3436

Swings and roundabouts, Liverpool met the clauses for Diego Costa and Konkloplonka (sp) but the deals weren't accepted.

Arsenal could have made it happen if they forced the issue. But then all the dirty laundry would have come out in the wash, ie speaking to our player without permission and knowing of the trigger clause.
