Honestly, even your terribly obvious insights have more depth than Craig Foster.

Three amazing goals in that 4-1 win. Brilliant stuff.

Top 4 will be good, anything better I will welcome with open arms. Suarez & Sturridge are lighting the EPL on fire at the moment. Just need defence to tighten up a bit at times...6 straight games without a clean sheet now in the league.

After 9 games last season - 10 points
After 9 games this season - 20 points

Liverpool looking very dangerous when they attack and could score plenty. Sturridge has added that Potent attack that Suarez has been craving. To think he wanted out before season started, and now the liverpool supporters love him!

Never stopped loving him. He stated, once he decided to stay, that one of the major reasons was the love and support the fans have always shown him and continued to do so after the "Hannibal" incident. Was no different to Torres, no one wanted him to go, especially after we signed Suarez a day before the window shut... imagine had Torres stayed in 2010/11 and played up front with Suarez... (with them both playing at their peak powers)... WOuld rival, if not be better than, Kenny and Rushy

Cissokho is shite. Would rather give the game time to Robinson.

Flanagan will obviously not play again. I'd have started Henderson at right wing back, with Allen in the middle myself.

Johnson, Enrique, & Coutinho in from the start will drastically improve us.

Liverpool unlucky with that silly Sagna incident in the first half, common sense would have been to let play go on and book Sagna next break in play..

what is laughable is that if your front two arent firing, you have nothing else that worries opposition defenders

cissokho? flanagan?

these are the guys you expect to help get a result against the better clubs with?

where was gerrard for the entire game?

All fair points maxin... But if Liverpool had their first choice wing backs last night, it would of been a much better showing from Liverpool. The difference between Johnson/Enrique as the wing backs compared to Flannagan/Kelly/Cissohko is laughable. No depth in the wide areas, yet Liverpool have 5 centre-backs

Wide players and a top class central play maker in January are needed.

I agree re the wingbacks, but top class central playmaker?

Coutinho has shown enough to prove he will be this.

Can't. Once he's blown for play to stop, he has to issue the caution then I think, so no playing on.

But is he there yet? I would say almost but not quite... Even so, there was a reason Liverpool were chasing Miktaryan/Deigo Costa/Willian in the transfer window. IMO they are one top class player short up front, i.e. whoever they bought in would of probably played along side Coutinho, not replaced him. Buying one of the aforementioned 3, would mean Coutinho could drop back in the hole, or play wide with one of the 3 playing in the whole (or even Suarez). All 4 attackers could interchange. Then you would have Lucas/Gerrard/Henderson to fit into the 2 central midfield positions.

I can't see Cissohko being kept after his loan, although he does deserve more than 3 games to prove himself. Flan/Robinson/Kelly are all not good enough for wing backs but are all serviceable as full backs. If Rodgers wants his systems to be flexible, he only needs to buy one more full back/wing back in the ilk of Johnson/Enrique.

40M pounds on a top class midfielder and wing-bac/full-back... how simple does that sound?

Correct Cyril. Ref stopped the game by blowing the whistle, he must issue the card then. If he waved play on, he could then issue the card at the next interval in play.

How then are you able to take a quick free kick? I assume that Suarez didn't ask for a wall...

You're supposed to ask the ref first, but in reality if the ref has no intentions of talking to a player or issuing a card, he tends to let you get on with it.
