The second annual Southern Cup will be hosted by Noarlunga United Soccer Club in 2013 . This will be conducted over four weeks in a round robin format

Just wondering who at Seaford was contacted because a few of our guys don't know about it yet. I'm not even sure who is coaching yet

All clubs were contacted and all agreed to the concept. Some slight adjustments were made for a couple of clubs .

It will be something that will be considered down the track ... It is only the second time this tournament has been run down south ....
Ground availability, Teams playing Saturday/Sunday etc .

Maybe in the future the Saturday teams will have a group of 4 and with the Sunday teams and the winner of both groups play in a final

But firstly we need to take baby steps......

Could be ! Didn't realise the tournament came with pressure, I thought it was a time to try out new/old players and prepare for the season proper !

There has been a slight adjustment to the tournament with the addition of McLaren Districts.

Hopefully the issues at Seaford can be resolved which Im sure they will

Swanny what game did you watch I played in the reserves game it was 2-3 with a very evenly contested game. McLaren hit the post late on and to be honest the game could have gone either way. Very pleased with the B's considering they were, with the exception of coach and keeper all Seaford U17 last year. Great sportsmanship all round Thanks again Southern Knights

Just had a little copy-paste error, corrected it so all is well.
Both games played in good spirits..thanks for the hit out at short notice !
Was impressed with your keeper, some good stops as he was under the pump a lot today !

Good hit out today...the old cliche that Noarlunga "wanted it more" was true today....they took their opportunities well.
Great to see young Nick Somers back between the sticks after 2 years out of the game and also to see David Mooney run out a full game after recent nagging injury woes. Some solid football out there today with plenty of strong tackles. Would be fair to say that Noarlunga certainly enjoyed their win.
