Zlat's Impossible Dream Comes True

Post by Old Master »

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC is now the world’s highest-paid footballer after Paris St Germain agreed to pay him £220,000-a-week — AFTER tax!

The Sweden striker, 30, sealed an £18million move to France from AC Milan.

PSG are funded by oil-rich Qataris and are desperate to do a Manchester City and buy their way to a first title since 1994.

Ibrahimovic said: “It’s true I don’t know that much about Ligue 1 — but Ligue 1 knows who I am!”

French president Francois Hollande intends to impose a 75 per cent tax rate on anyone earning more than a £784k a year.

But Zlat’s agent Mino Raoila wangled a deal that gets him paid at least £9.4million a year — even after the Government’s cut.

That rises to £11.4m- a-year if bonus targets are met — meaning a whopping £220,000 straight into his account.

Ibrahimovic said: “PSG made something impossible possible. Another dream came true.”
The older I get the better I was.

I love Ibra. He's such a boss.

This gives me a reason to actually watch French football.

He is proven. I dont agree with his wage, but at the end of the day if someone is willing to pay that he is worth that.

he will be the difference for them.

Can't believe it's been nearly 20 years since PSG has won the ligue 1...can't beat em, just buy em.

Bit like man city really !

i'll stick with my team olympique Lyon even though we'll struggle to finish top 5 if Marseille get their act together.
