Don't pay fees then the following:
No competition
No neutral people to run the comp fairly
No neutral referees
No pathways to development squads, State teams, Adelaide United youth system

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
you're not even involved in any club or making any contributions towards players development.

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
I paid and played my soccer dues eg 1969 to 2010 thank you for the memories and experiences now I have a life but love F/N. Today onwards are my soccer retirement years for others to play and pay. If most listen to some old experience in the game? The game today and into the future could be in a better place??? Us oldies can dream.
Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
well then why dont you start a committee of your own, recruit some players and coaches and start your own club, teach all of us how its done.....
thanks for all your ideas JD, i have been printing them out on a daily basis and use them to wipe my ass every morning

Tell the 1st teams to stop paying their average players 800 a week.
Geezeee!!! Some of the best sides in the late 80's and 90's, with players twice as good as today never got that much! Even adjusting for inflation it has got out of hand.

Better get Kerry Packer on to it and form a new League in SA with TV rights and get Blair Schwartz as commentator?

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
So what are you guys going to do??? Clubs that is??? Just keep on doing the same thing for zip return??? Soon enough your sponsors will not pay the money each year??? You are producing any big ticket players from your juniors for a financial return once you sell them???? Parents will not be able to afford paying the john junior fees either eventually???
The whole system/financial model is flawed.
Any answers????

Well its being going this way for the past 50 years, and everything seems to still be ticking along.johndedes wrote:So what are you guys going to do??? Clubs that is??? Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
It has been pointed out by wiser heads that calculated on an hourly basis they are in fact in expensive.johndedes wrote:Not correct junior fees these days are expensive
Further you are advocating that FFSA clubs join together and not pay junior fees.
As around 75%-80% of a junior's clubs fees are levied by the clubs themselves, how do the clubs "not pay" these?
Flawed.

It was also pointed out that the fees are on par with charges of that time when you take into consideration changes in affordability.Stitch This wrote:It has been pointed out by wiser heads that calculated on an hourly basis they are in fact in expensive.johndedes wrote:Not correct junior fees these days are expensive

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
I played junior soccer at Hellas eg from 1973 in the under 14's and it was free except transport, boots....
When I played juniors in 1976 it was free, until 1982.
I only started paying rego fees when started playing amateurs in 1989 onwards .....
When I was at Polonia in 1972 playing under 12's we were charged 40 cents every Friday training night and got a bottle of Cottes soft drink after training finished my favourite was lime or raspberry ....
We met at Polonia reserve to wait for some dads to pick a group of us up on Sunday mornings to be transported to and from games, the club had a suit case full of tops, shorts, socks to use for games, someone washed them every week I think it was the coach?
It was affordable back then or free, not today.

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
champagne = something that only women can have between their legs

Re: If all FFSA clubs join together and do not pay junior fe
That is an insult , sorry please read your facts better, no I did not play at Hellas in 1972, I was at Polonia. The Hellas under 12 team had over age players not Polonia under 12
