Apply now to coach a Flinders Flames team in our 2018 women’s season.

Flinders Flames has a proud history spanning more than 15 years that is unique in its concept of creating and encouraging a place to play competitive football and also a space for women of all ages who are new to the game. We are looking for enthusiastic coaching staff to help continue the success of the club and continue our mantra of "anyone can play football".

We have between three and five women's teams currently. Coaching, Assistant Coaching and Goal Keeper coaching vacancies currently exist across these teams and we are taking expressions of interest for all our teams for consideration.

Our Division 2 team won the league last year and are looking threatening on top of the Division 1 table for the 2017 season. We are hoping to take out the leage back to back. Our lower division teams are also looking competitive, spending most of the year in the top three table standings.

Our Coaches

This is a distinctive opportunity to be part of an esteemed club and we are looking for applicants who can bring the following to the roles:

Coaching experience at a senior or youth level, and/or playing experience at a high level;
Formal football coaching qualifications, and/or a desire to pursue coaching accreditation (paid for by our club);
A passion for the game and teaching it to others;
Excellent leadership and communication skills; and
A vision and a desire to be part of not only a team- but a football family, where success is a focus not just within teams but the club as a whole
The successful applicants will be required to train their team on two week nights per week – training nights typically are Tuesday and Thursdays but subject to availability of grounds.
Regular season matches are played on Sundays.

Pre-season training and subsequent trial matches will commence in January 2018.
