New club “the Rangers” are now demanding that they are“the old firm” but Dundee Utd and Aberdeen could be disappointed and disagree as years have went past there label was called the “New Firm” and should be classed as “ OLD FIRM”NOW…As Celtic Supporters the “OLD FIRM “ was Dead in 2012 when Glasgow Rangers were liquidated …. The club and there supporters passed away in 2012 as well as the “Old Firm”
If I’m not mistaken is Celtic football Club got the copyrights to the Logo “OLD FIRM” as Glasgow Rangers lost there right to them in 2012 because of bankruptcy … I could see other Court Battle ahead for Sevco for breaching copyrights bhoys and ghirls

Two problems with that.
The main one is that the trademark was renewed last year by both clubs.

Yes, and to support the 'theory' it did take place a 32 year old Bluenose has been charged. Don't even think that Donald Findlay QC would represent him as a lawyer. It was a tongue in cheek comment, he has been charged because the authorities now have evidence. Either they have studied video footage or Rangers have one of their own reporting him. Hope he is preparing himself for a heavy fine and a lifetime ban.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Celtic beaten 2-1 by Rangers(AET) in Scottish Cup semi-final and Rangers deserved their victory to be honest. Celtic failed to find their rhythm as Rangers got a foothold in midfield and controlled the game for long periods. Celtic went one up against the run of play and turning point in game is when Celtic struck the bar and failed to go 2-0 up as at this point Rangers looked jaded.
However when Rangers equalised late on it gave them a shot in the arm and from there on in it was a 50-50 game. This game on it's own won't distract from the fabulous work that Ange has done at Celtic, as long as they win the league.
Hats off to Rangers, they were deserved winners on the day, god knows what to expect in the next encounter in the league.
Their fixture list has been relentless with their added games in Europe so they must all take the accolades coming their way.
As for Celtic they will need to dig deep as the title is not over, particularly if Carter-Vickers is injured as in my opinion he has been Celtic's most consistent player this season. Reckon there will be a couple of twists and turns before the season's end.
Hoping that Ange can show his class and lift the team for the last few games.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Own goals are part of the game and they happen from time to time, so in the context of a game such as this there is no embarrassment for Carl Starfelt or Celtic, merely disappointment and bad luck.
On the subject of own goals spare a thought for New Zealand Women's International player Meikayla Moore who recently scored THREE own goals within 36 minutes v United States Women in a World Cup qualifier (5m, 6m, 36m) and to make things worse it was a 'perfect' hat-trick (right foot, header and left foot). She may have got more but she was unsurprisingly subbed off shortly after her third! Good move from the Coach you would have to say.

There are different stories regarding his death and the own goal theory was one of them. Re: Rangers v Celtic
Great game and fair result. Celtic should have scored more in the first half and Rangers dominated the second and unlucky not to win match. With 3 matches left Rangers need to pick up 6 points and 19 goals difference .
