England Manager in "playing players in form"..... SHOCKER!!

Those Kane and Vardy goals were superb.

Just ditch the couple of scousers Lallana & Henderson and we have a decent team.

Well said.
Golden generation that achieved nothing besides getting a lot of unwarranted Caps along the way.
Best technical display i've seen from an England team in many years.

It's good to see an English coach interested in blooding young players ageist big name opponents for a change.

One thing I've noticed is that there are quite a number of young players with skills comparable to the best from other countries in the squad.

The new coaching system appears to be delivering the goods.

Good to see, finally route one long ball is dead.

When was the last time you saw an England team playing "route one"?

Not sure it was that technical, but the workrate from the younger players was phenomenal. Kane and Vardy never stopped running.

Nice to see Harry give a nod to the great man with his turn inside the box. Very appropriate.

Decent performance and did enjoy the ex Millwall boy scoring. Always good to beat the krauts but just a friendly, no point in getting excited.

Red and green kits... New Year New Name would have had a task differentiating between the teams.

Pay back for the W.C. Beating the world champions on their own patch with a young inexperienced team ? Although only a " friendly ", a good result. Some encouraging signs, still problems to be sorted in central defense though.

What to do with Rooney is the big question. IMO Rooney should only be bench player given the form of the attacking players in the squad.

On his current form, he is behind Vardy & Kane in the pecking order. A handy back up ,all the same.
