I think it's funny, I mean not as funny as Erik Lamela, but funny none the less.

Ergh, here we go. How is it funny? We've been out of the CL for years. Going from 7th to top four/title challenge in a year is amazing progress. Are we supposed to not be happy with that?
shouldn't you have those expectations every year? as being part of the traditional Big 4.
Yeah, we should expect top four after finishing 6th/7th/8th the past few seasons. :?

On this day 8 years ago Twitter was invented, meaning no Arsenal fan has ever tweeted in celebration of winning a trophy.

Wow. Arsenal away from home are abysmal against the other title contenders. 4-0 after 40 at the bridge is inexcusable if you want to be competing for titles. Very lacklustre all over the park. Especially Sagna.

 @ Marriner, even after consulting the linesman he sends off the wrong player

Who's claiming they were? Unless you spelt Man United wrong......

Bale/Erik/Kallstrom was insinuating that after Toure's mistake Liverpool could be out of the title race. I then mearly made the point that they were never in it.

Also you will not finish above Arsenal.
Best part is the 1000/1 odds offered. See you in May.

If Liverpool win their game in hand on Chelsea they are only 1 point behind and are well and truly in it. City have a few tough away games coming up to make things interesting, but it is theirs to lose having 3 games in hand on Chelsea and a chance to go a game ahead of them if they win all those games.

Cant argue with that Cyril, wont be champions if you can beat teams above you

Best part of the game was the call of 'mistaken identity' by the plonker in the middle. Gibbs should be able to get that over turned, & they cant ban Ox after the fact so both should be available next week

So what did the ref see then?

Apparently it was confirmed during the game that Ox would receive the 1 match ban, & Gibbs would be clear to play mid week.

shiraz me, it's Comedy Hour down at The Lane. Are there any defenders left who can actually defend and aren't just frustrated midfielders?

Entertaining mid-table tussle in the end bearing in mind neither side have anything to play for and little to look forward to. Well done to Tottenham when you think that they paid out Redknap, lost Bale, wasted all his money then ended up with a poor man's Harry as manager. At least they still give it a go.

Reckon it's Chelsea's to lose. The only tough match they have is against us away. Liverpool still have a few tough matches too as do arsenal. It will be close.

Agreed, Chelsea have the easiest run in out of the top 3, however Liverpool do have fate in their own hands as they have games against both Chelsea and Man City at home still.

Man City have the strongest squad but they also have the toughest run in, Man United away (although probably not as tough a game at the moment), Arsenal away, Liverpool away and Everton away to come still. They could win the league by some spectacular fashion or they could potentially finish 4th behind Arsenal with that run of tricky fixtures.

 The FA continue to find ways to make themselves look stupid.

Gibbs, fair enough, completely innocent, but Chamberlain should have copped the ban. If their rules are worded so that incidents seen by the ref cannot be re-refereed, then they need to be changed for cases of mistaken identity.

To be fair to the Ox, he was better in goal than Szczesny, at least he stopped one. I must have missed his 'selfie' at the end of this game

No.

The Ox was not banned because the ball was going wide of the post, so it was not denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity. Dunno if the F.A. recorded a yellow against him.
