Wow, I was totally wrong, Arsenal are going to be a real force this season after a 5-3 smashing of that European powerhouse Nurnberg in a pre-season friendly.
Time for haywood and N5 to get excited
Proof that you are a joke Cyril
get yer hand off it

EPL odds. Some flattering ones here.

Just looked it up (American/USA betting system) and hope Bomber hasn't already put his life savings on Liverpool at a very attractive 220-1- it is actually 2.2-1.
Their system works like this: Odds expressed with $100 being standard.
If minus odds are quoted (as per Man. City) then that amount of money must be wagered to win $100. So $175 must be wagered to win $100.
If plus odds are wagered (as per every other team in the league) then a $100 bet must be wagered to win the amount of money quoted in the column. For example betting a $100 on Liverpool would win $220, Tottenham $100 bet would win $1600
and so on. A $100 bet on Arsenal would potentially win $4500 (45/1 and slightly better odds than SkyBet).
So everything that looks too good to be true is too good to be true, though some good odds all the same. That said it looks like a two horse race but hopefully two or three teams can find the consistency to spook the big two.
Right I get it now, still doesn’t make any bloody sense though. Those yanks are just plain weird. Had to listen to their commentary for the friendlies this month, they’d just ramble on inanely and occasionally get distracted by the game
How did your mob Cyril go against Sevilla?? We're 4 nil up in side 18mins
I didn't even know they were playing, I pay absolutely zero attention to preseason friendlies, they're completely meaningless. I generally see the results long after the games have finished, but I don't think I've ever actually sat and watched one. I'd have to Google to see who the Goons are playing, but honestly CBF.

Pre season or not 6:0 is impressive against a good team.

You still haven't told me who they were playing, it could have been Leyton Orient?

Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City. First blood to Liverpool in Community Shield
I think everyone was appalled at the reckless, criminal behaviour of the so called fans who let all those dangerous flares and smoke bombs off. Authorities must come down hard with lifetime bans. Obviously couldn’t have been Liverpool fans what with fan safety being so important to them and I’m confident all involved with the club, fans & officials, will cooperate fully with any investigation

More to the point, how could VAR give a penalty for that 'handball'?

Yeah what a joke decision, the ball was going miles wide and the defender didn’t even see it. Nunez looks a right knob too, only on two seconds and he takes dive.

The only bit of news I could find that mentioned Spurs and the Goons in the same article was this. It appears to be a snippet of some sort of table, not sure what it means though, perhaps you understand it?

Pumped today and hoping Palace do the same to the Goons

Yeah will take a draw tomorrow morning. Interesting to see how the season pans out, a lot rests on Jesus leading the line for 50 odd games which is a big ask. Just have to wait and see I suppose.
Not the toughest tbf, but I thought your defence looked better with Saliba and I've always rated Ramsdale. Lucky second goal finished it off, but I thought Palace were always in with a chance. Jesus looked rubbish btw

Manchester United looking good. Couldn't score a goal of their own.
They were awful, as were Chelsea. Sterling is already finding out that Havertz can't do what KDB does, whereas Haarland is finding the opposite, he'll score plenty.

Only saw first half but Man U were shocking, at least they couldn't blame the pitch

They weren't impressive at all but Ill take the win. Everton will struggle. Service to the main forward at Chelsea not good lately. Oh to have Cesc again. Chelsea play Tottenham next. It should show where they are at.
