Was a fairly even contest all over the park in a game that was played in good spirits, hard and well officiated.




The Bert Fuda and Joseph Tasovac tussle commences.

Cup tied Aaron Davey stepped up to the mark in goal for the Downs with a good, solid display.



Tasovac wins another one above Fuda watched by team mates Ian Kenny and Stuart Davis.

Downs come close to opening the scoring.

All eyes are on veterans Mark Brazzale from Wanderers and Bert Fuda from the Downs as he challenges Lawrence Harding.

Things get a little heated for a while.

After the half time break Wanderers began to show a bit more urgency.

There were som strong contests all over the park.

Tony Reeves through but adjudged offside.

Wanderers surged forward down the right wing on several occasions.

Tasovac and Fuda were never too far away from each other the whole game.

Adrian Cazzetta sets himself despite the chopped up surface outside the area made footing and control quite difficult.

A last gasp goal in the 93rd minute gives the Downs a ticket into the Quarter finals.
