A fairly even game between these sides today, with both goals conceded by the respective sides whilst kicking into a fairly challenging breeze.

A very entertaining game on what appeared to be an excellent playing surface at O’Sullivan Beach today, with all 8 goals coming in the first half mostly from well taken opportunities.
The second half could have produced many more goals but for some telling stops from both goalkeepers.
Munno Para, playing with more attacking options than the home side seemed to take advantage of the somewhat rearranged Knights defence.
A deserved win and reward for Dave Radford’s charges from north of Smith’s Creek ( my old back yard ! ).
Southern Knights will be a little shell-shocked by todays result but need to lift themselves for up an coming games.
Must also commend the referee who allowed the game to flow and his common sense approach to officiating.

Knights, immediately on the back foot.

Munno Para take the lead early 0-1.

Knights reply quickly with an excellent finish to level it at 1-1.


Munno Para find the back of the net again and celebrate regaining the lead at 1-2.

Southern Knights reply quickly to level the legder at 2-2.

Blink and you miss a goal, Munno Para celebrate their 3rd and regain the lead at 2-3.

Knights balance the books again at 3-3 despite the efforts of Munno Para's headless keeper !

Like deja vu Munno Para celebrate their reply to take the lead again at 3-4.

Munno Para's defence thwart Knights attempt to restore the balance to the scoreline.


Once again Knights are on the back foot as Munno Para press forward and stretch their lead to 3-5.

Knights just miss out on posting an early goal after the half time break.


Not to be outdone Munno Para threaten to increase their lead on several occasions.
