Re: Cup finals
At least vale had the manners to wait until they'd hit the change rooms to put them on.

Re: Cup finals
Having them printed up was bad enough, but putting them on on the pitch prior to the awards presentation was just bad form- beyond cheeky IMO.

Re: Cup finals
It's very easy to blame one person for everything. I think it's a very narrow-minded approach and stinks of a more personal motive.

Re: Cup finals
Best/closest games of the day (and not just because Cumby won): U13's Cumby def. City 2-1 U17's Cumby def. Knights 1-0. Goal scored in last 2 minutes. With regards to the Uni U15's playing U17's in league and U15's in cup, they are obviously a very talented/well-coached side, and their successes wer...

Re: Lisa De Vanna and facebook
I have to say I can't believe that some of you are equating the posting of a photo on Facebook with privacy. It seems obvious that if you want something kept private the last thing you should do is post a photo of it online. There is no privacy in online social networking sites. Duh. So from that st...

Matildas AFC video
Does anyone know how or where I can get ahold of any video clips of the Matildas' AFC campaign? I'd like to incorporate it into an awards night presentation. I have checked YouTube and the SBS website with no luck. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: results 29/8
25$ per player would be $400 per game. I certainly don't reckon that any all-girls' clubs would have the money for even that. And I suspect that the boots or petrol money wouldn't be coming from the club organizations, but from individuals within the clubs that could do that every once and awhile. I...

Re: Silvers Circus Round 2
What a joke !! Reserves in the same comp as 1st team ? It could only happen in SA. All clubs from Prems to Div 5 should be in the same draw, with preliminary rounds for the lower grade sides. A separate comp for reserves should be played as is done in all other associations. I would guess that Rese...

Thanks Redback. It's really constructive to know how other states approach the issue that it would seem we all share. We are all definitely interested.

I'm with you Angela- if he goes on one more time about how the girls learned everything they know from playing in the backyard with their brothers I'm going to hunt him down. Of course we always owe everything to the guys and would all be playing with Barbie dolls without them. UGH.

Re: Prems/Reserves results 16/5/10
Nothing personal Leppskii, but I'm a bit tired of the whinging. I would accuse the four clubs in question all of hubris, but I doubt they'd know what it meant (get the irony?). It's a Cup Round. On any given day any team is capable of beating any other team, no matter how good they think they are. I...

In fixtures booklet the Game of the Month is listed as Cumberland v Sturt Marion, May 14th at Marden. Don't know if it's been changed or if someone at FFSA just got it wrong.

Re: results 2/5
Chaos I think you might be getting it backwards-It seems to me from reading the preceding posts that the Toros div 5 players filled in for div 2 and then played as usual for their div 5 team, not the other way around. And I hardly think a 2-1- loss is "not holding your own".

Three at the latest Young Matilda's camp, which is great. Best of luck to Georgia, Ashlee and Nicole. U13's went well in Canberra. Let's see what happens at Coffs in July with the U15's and U17's.
