Re: West Adelaide U16s 2019
Ok a bit of a stir of the pot, however have heard that the West Adelaide U16s for 2019 have been told by the club that they are in U16 JPL B. I thought nothing had been sorted as yet as to who has nominated for which league and secondly am amazed that a team that came last in U15s JPL B in 2018 wou...

Re: most successful junior club 2018 ?
I agree with Migrant Land that tables only tell part of the story. We need to apply 100% loadings for any club that has black and white as its primary colours, its nickname involves African animals, is run by suits, has fees over $1474, the parents are gullible idiots, its chairman is called Tony, ...

Re: Advice about sons future.
Pick the best coach. Dont worry about what "division" the team plays in. Your sons development will occur predominately through the information he is receiving during the week at training. Never pick the club, Never pick the division.. Always pick the coach. And if you don't know the coac...

The injection of cash to support a senior team bloated by egos and over paid players paid for by the juniors fees. One club invited players from outside the club to participate in an internal practice session/training game during this past season. Whether that counts as a trial is open to conjecture. lots of U15’s, U16’s trialling for 18’s which is fine. I’m sure there are internal trials as well but I’m yet to...

How can they dictate that either? I know one club that has already had 3 trials. they always have. Senior trials can commence but not juniors. This was sent a couple of weeks ago. Apparently Adelaide City has released their juniors fee structure for 2019. Cue for outpouring of outrage. Nice one. The pre-empting , reverse-psychology trick. "Apparently " - you know perfectly well that it's been released. You had a hand in it's release. Just under $1500 for juniors......

Re: U18s JSL competition
Every U16A JPL team will beat any U17 team. But The top 5 U16A JPL teams will beat most U18 teams.....and this is the problem. There are many players that are playing U18s that wouldn't make any of the U16A JPL1 sides. U16 JPLA would beat mid to lower NPL 18's and almost all SL1 and SL2 18's. Those...

The biggest problem is the stigma with the u17’s. That is why the league is of a very low standard. I also think there should be u18’s under the junior banner and bring back U23’s. This would strengthen all leagues and in turn younger players will develop into better players. the U18 league is poin...
