Re: U16 AFC Chmapionship
Ange was in the crowd watching as well. I think they play Malaysia now in the quarter finals, and who ever wins goes to the semi finals and qualifies for next years world cup.

Re: Saudi Arabia v Socceroos
Looking at the quality we have played though
-Croatia
-Chile
-Netherlands
-Spain
-Belgium
its not hard to see why we've lost but we definitely need a win against Saudi Arabia, and they will be around the quality we'll play in the Asian Cup

Re: Asian Cup lead up friendlies
Yeah baffles me especially considering the big part he had in the first team pre season. Only explanation is that dortmund are keeping him fresh for their games but i dunno.

Re: Asian Cup lead up friendlies
Although their only friendlies, Having seen him with Dortmund first team against some pretty big teams, he doesn't look out of place and plays accurate and sometimes defence splitting passes. He's also beefed up and is stronger on the ball which seems to helped him a bit. Only criticism is that at a...

Suspension
How many yellow cards is it until you receive a suspension? I know that after 5 yellows their is a 1 game suspension but how many yellow cards after that for another suspension, and how many games does that suspension last for?
Thank you
Thank you

Re: World Cup awards
I think he meant 23 chances created, and he had the most dribbles of the tournament, and third of all time! Eusebio never won the world cup aswell, and his 9 goals to win the golden boot, 4 came from penalties and the other 4 against North Korea.

The attacker can only touch the ball once, so once it hit him in the shoulder it becomes void and doesn't count

Re: Goal of the tournament
Definitely not a miskick, odd technique called "knuckleball" where you hit it very flat with no serve, and so the movement of the ball is unpredictable.Rookie wrote:Luiz's free kick this morning was pretty good but was it a miss kick

Re: 2018 World Cup First 11
I reckon the following 4 could be a chance in 4 years time?
-Rafa Jimenez (DF) Villarreal
-Peter Skapetis (FW) Stoke City
-Chris Ikonomidis (MF) Lazio
-Jackson Irvine (MF) Celtic
Chris Ikonomidis is a big talent, a lot of potential and hopefully he cracks the first team

Re: Winner of the WC
Dutch and Germany overrated, Germany will struggle with a backline of 4 centerbacks and Loew wont put Lahm back in RB. The Dutch formation will be badly exposed as will there average midfield without Strootman. Right now Colombia look like the real deal with Rodriguez surely best player of the tourn...

2018 World Cup First 11
Assuming we get through the qualifying stages, the future socceroos look to be very promising especially with 4 years more experience at the top level and if some of them live up to the potential: Maty Ryan Williams --- Good - Spiranovic --- Davidson Amini - Antonis Kruse ---- Rojic/De Silva --- Lec...

Its just a pity Leckie only just signed for another Bundesliga 2 side. Surely better clubs would be interested! Hopefully that changes the season following this.
As far as I'm concerned he could still sign for another club by the end of July. Doesn't FIFA state that you can't play for more t...
