Re: Cech to Arsenal
I reckon fans have shown remarkable restraint regarding our keepers. Wenger for whatever reason just hasn't taken the position seriously. Since Lehmann left, who lets be honest was a bit of a nutter, about 8 years ago our keepers have included Almunia, Wright, Manonne, Flabianski, Szczesny & Osp...

Re: Cech to Arsenal
Ospina played a blinder this morning against the Argies. Couple of world class saves to deny Messi & co Cech expected to be unveiled when he returns from his holiday Did you see Ospina run out to block then bottle it, then pretend to be injured. He has no place at Arsenal, we'll win nothing wit...

Re: Cech to Arsenal
Excellent news.
Sportings William Carvalho maybe next? Seen him play for Portugal in the U21s this month, I know it's only U21s but looks just the job for us, very strong on the ball, plays defensive mid & centre back if needed.

Re: Cech to Arsenal
Wengers best signings are up there with anyone's but every year or so he brings in someone that leaves scratching your head going WTF was he thinking. Ospina woudn’t be the worst. I reckon that honour would have to go to Santos or Cygan, would love to have seen a front 2 of Bentner & Sanogo in a...

It is putting a strain on families financially Bollocks. Take responsibility for your own actions and live within your means. Most do that’s why they keep their kids in E&D or direct them towards the excellent and low cost cricket and AFL development pathways, consequently a lot of very talente...

Bloody Sarf London glory hunter. You should be supporting Wimbledon or Palace, but it does explain your illiteracy  No he shouldn't, if he's from Battersea then the closest teams would be Chelsea then Fulham. Possibly Plough Lane coming in after that. Nothing to do with proximity. You never cr...

With Arsenal winning, Liverpool are now in the group stages with no qualifying, which saves extra games.

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Should work well with Chambers as back up. Now if we offload Mertsacker, Arteta & Flamini plus all our keepers then bring in a decent keeper for once with one more centre back and a strong holding midfielder we should be set for a push at the title next year. Cech & Sami will fit the bill &...

Re: Liverpool
That's why spurs are in the same category as Everton, Newcastle, Fulham & Swansea. Just making up the numbers, providing competition for the top clubs. Winning is a habit, look at chelsea, didn't moan about being in Europa just went ahead and won the stupid thing.

Talking of dodgy transfers. Sterling is getting some very bad advice of late, he needs to get his head out down and learn his trade properly else he will likely become nothing but a disappointment to all but his agent.

Loved Wenger's sporting comments "we were unlucky against a team that refused to play completely and just defended" and Gary Monks response with a big smirk on his mug was even better "Yeah, it's a shame innit..... if we didn't play, I don't know how we got the three points then"...

In all seriousness I reckon this is what's wrong with most if not all the top clubs in England at the moment, they think they can just buy in random often overpriced talent and hey presto they’re gonna be winners. No time is given to development of the squad and instilling a defined club culture whe...
