Re: 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup
If you saw the brawl between Mexico and New Zealand you would see your answer.
I'm sure England would love to play in the Confederations Cup as it would mean one of the following : 1. They had won the WC. 2. They had won the Euros. 3. They had won hosting rights for the WC .
I'm sure...

Re: 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup
Because 9 players I named who you'd expect to be starters weren't even in the squad as they have been "rested". That means that even if the put out their best team from the squad, that's their Reserves. So, if they name their 2nd best team from that squad - that would be the C Grade. As u...

Re: 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup
Why 22? It was clearly not their strongest team. Ozil, Hummels, Mueller, Boatang, Kroos, Goetze, Neuer, Hoewedes, Weigl... 7 uncapped players and not one of the team that played in the last world cup final in the squad. Only 3 players who were even in the last world cup squad are there.
Some...

Re: 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup
Have competing nations sent strongest squads? Well Germany seem to be treating it as a friendly with the team they put out Regardless of who is missing in the German side they will always put out a strong side. World champions after all. Can you play a side for development reasons and still not put...

Re: Socceroos are coming to town..
. Truly awful behaviour from the Saudi team and supporters during the minutes silence - apology is too little too late Typical uneducated Aussie redneck viewpoint. This was a cultural difference and not disrespectful as many racists are trying to paint it. They are forbidden to stand in silence in ...

Re: Socceroos are coming to town..
The Tom Rogic goal was world class. He has always had a powerful shot. Aussie had a good second half. Leckie should have had a penalty.
I was expecting Mooy to dominate. Was quiet 1st half but good second like a few of his mates.

Agree about the ref. He was all over the shop. There were hip and shoulders both ways similar to AFL and not penalised then he would pull up minor tackles.

Re: Australia v UAE
That was as bad a game that I have ever seen. Skill level of some Aussies very poor. I'll take the win but we need improvement . Juric has no idea and no skill. The loss of Mooy to suspension was big.

Re: The road to Moscow
Socceroos Vs Kruse. How that bloke got 90 mins is beyond me. Any time the ball went near him that was the end of the attack. He must he played himself offside about 5 times. I know beggars can't be choosers but surely offering players that aren't playing at all for their clubs isn't the best idea. ...

I think the 2-2 was a good result against the Saudi's. We were the better side. It's always hard away but Ang could have brought players on earlier in those conditions.

beIN sport started yesterday on Fox. I am very impressed with content I have seen so far. I am watching Scottish PL at the moment. To the true football lover these 3 stations have it all. They are not restricted to football.

Re: SASF v FFSA NPL - Crowd numbers & Prize Money
I'm not sure why JD persists in his recurrent tirades when he admits to: 1. not going to games these days due to other interests 2. refuses to understand today's cost structures in running an NPL club (and compliance issues that go with it) 3. refuses to acknowledge repeated valid answers relative ...

There was a minutes silence at the Croydon WT Birkalla match. It was a great gesture on both teams behalves. It shows a tragedy like this transcends codes. It happened with Phil Hughes. A quality person taken to early.
