Re: Junior Players playing both juniors and seniors
Discussing with a reserves coach at the weekend and he was considering naming a 14 year old on his bench. A young boy seemed to think the only rule was that you can only play for 3 sides in any one round. Another suggested that how ever long he plays in the seniors means he cannot play that amount ...

Re: Head-shaking results
There's a Southern club that has pushed up an U15JSL to U16JPLC and they are getting flogged. I'm assuming it's got something to do with the FFSA ruling of NPL clubs fielding a team in each age group. They were competitive in last years U14JSL but not an overly great experience and again it's not ex...

Re: Under 17s fees
Yes however will need to wait until the season is over wont be fair on my son whilst he is still at the club however my original question is should the FFSA get involved? They should protect the members form clubs that do this to their member It's got nothing to do with the FFSA. Our club had an is...

Re: Movement of players in the Junior Cup
I was on the understanding that once you had played in the cup for a team then that was your team irrespective of age groups and JSL/JPL. So, if you played 15 JPL, then you cannot play for any other team. Not 14's, not 16's, not 15's JSL.... 14.1 below explains it. 14. Movement of Players 14.1 For ...

Re: Under 17s fees
For me, it's pretty straight forward. You have paid for a 17's spot and that wasn't available, a full refund should be made available. If he then accepts the 18's position then the appropriate fee is then paid. The club have clearly not kept to their side of any agreement. If all the parents got to...

Re: Poor State of Junior Football
From what I gather though the courses are designed to teach you how to communicate, not what to coach and coaching techniques. That might be wrong but it's what I was told. The community courses are useless, especially the game training certificate. You basically get to watch a bloke from the FFSA ...

seeding the majority of JPL clubs didn't really help the huge scorelines..........21-0, 19-0, 18-0, 15-0, 15-0, 15-1 etc

Re: Under 17s fees
What are your thoughts on clubs trialling for a 17s team for the season back in October 2017 and parents have paid their fees and the club had decided this year to pull the team from the competition due to lack of numbers, now kids are to play under 18s when fees are a third of the juniors and the c...

Re: Round 3 big results
Agree 100% with the last sentence. The JSL comp needs to be disbanded and just have leagues A to E. Let teams play in the league that best represents their ability. Just need to impose rule that clubs can only have one team per league. FFSA will not make the change though without pressure form club...

I'm wondering what you've been using to get your fixtures before. This is the only place to get the up to date fixtures as the FFSA spreadsheet is way out of date.limozeen wrote: Magnet I don't know who you are but I owe you a beverage of choice should we ever meet given all the info you've provided. Wow wrong tops? Maybe some non registered players on the team. In the end does anyone know the correct score? I know the coach of that team and also the Junior Director and I can tell you they would not allow unregistered players to play ..so you can put that one to bed. Correct. No ineligible play...

Yeah but you only have 7 days to fill out online!!! And if it doesnt have to line up with what is written on the team sheet sunday morning then it doesnt really matter if a few players change. Hopefully just round 1 issues and it will get sorted. I was more interested to see how serious clubs take ...

Re: Round 3 big results
Goal difference is capped at 8. You can see the scorers when you click on match centre so the actual scoreline can be seen. I've seen that a lot of managers do not note the scorers which is a bit strange as they are supposed to.KRO wrote:So how the 8 goal cap work on goal difference at end of season?

You are right magnet. That poor kid was terrified and the beast only stopped because his son pleaded with him. The 1-30 kick offs? Is it mainly older teams so they can have top up players from then lower age groups after they play their correct age group? Not enough grounds? 90+ fixtures after 1pm.
