Re: $1400 junior fees for 2019
UNisa. Qualified coaches and giving those bigger clubs a shake up. Moved from the bigger club probably the $1400 club and couldn’t be happier. Better coaching and more importantly kids happy and player development. Don’t be fooled that bigger means better. Andre is a fraud. Lining his pockets for s...

Re: Adelaide City Coaches for 2019
Their website says they'd have the positions announced by August 10. All we hear are crickets, which is perhaps ironic. And typical of this club - over promise (and collect first) and then under deliver. They couldn't even organise team photos without trying to trouser a few more dollars from the u...

Re: U18s JSL competition
Bringing this topic back. I dont really agree with u18s JSL comp, however I do believe U17s should be an important competition and be the u18s reserve team. Im amazed that so many clubs treat this competition as a money maker and not a crucial part of development for the next group of 18s to come t...

Our club has its Annual Report available to members on it’s website. The Apparel was a third of its membership income with facility hire a close second.

Re: $1400 junior fees for 2019
Some of these clubs over the past couple of years have continually increased their fees by $200 + per year due to their own arrogance that parents/players will just always pay, but then struggle to explain why such a large increase is justified from the previous year. I have no problem in paying fo...

Re: Another Day More Disgraceful Behaviour
All in brawl after the White City v Raiders U17 game today. Parents and coaches all involved in the aftermath. It was still going on 20 minutes after the final whistle  this should keep FFSA busy . Raiders won the match 2-0 at WC ground and the ref had a FFSA mentor so there will be an indep...

Re: FFSA NTC Teams struggling for numbers
Tomorrow's NTC under 17 competition team has gift wrapped the game to Adelaide City. Only 10 players available. And that's after taking 2 players from their team playing Under 16s also against Adelaide City. So the Adelaide City 16s will also be gifted a result, a week after sacking their coach. we...

Re: Farcical Situation at major club juniors
Ok so ABE forfeit because of player unavailability due to sickness. These things sometimes happen. The original point though was a" farcical situation" where forfeits were predicted based on player/ parent unrest at a big club. No axe to grind. Just curious about the story. ABE wanted to ...

Re: Farcical Situation at major club juniors
If the club doesnt deal with the situation then maybe the penny will drop when 60 percent of the players don't come back next year. Or not, they may just lay the blame on the parents and their 'expectations'. Been there before. I believe that the club has written off this group. The younger age tea...

Re: Farcical Situation at major club juniors
One of the bigger clubs will struggle to field both a JPL (div 1) and JSL team this week or next. I don't think they've ever forfeited a game in their history but that may be about to change. The natives are furious with what's been happening with selections- the coach can't even pick his own team ...

it’s not about over age. It’s about playing for two teams at the same age group.limozeen wrote:If a ref decides that a player or players are over age (with no proof and in fact it's totally untrue) what is he supposed to do? I would have thought he would need to make the players leave the field and not play.

I see Birks U16 JPL have two people listed in their squad tonight that have already played in the cup for their U16 JSL team. If anyone on here knows the U16 coach then maybe worth telling them before their JPL team plays. not great for Birkalla if they play. They would have been favourites to win ...

Fulham U12 JSL pulled out of the league. Noticed in the 14s 15s 16s You'd expect big scores in 13s and under, but can't believe some "big teams " getting murdered. Skillaroos are bottom of 15s and 16s, with some horrible drubbings without a point in either league. A few other big teams copping it too. I’ve seen lots of U18 teams...

Re: Movement of players in the Junior Cup
I was on the understanding that once you had played in the cup for a team then that was your team irrespective of age groups and JSL/JPL. So, if you played 15 JPL, then you cannot play for any other team. Not 14's, not 16's, not 15's JSL.... you can play up but once you are up you can’t play down. ...

Re: Poor State of Junior Football
You'll find Michael Carter doesn't make a big deal about his attendance at games, tends to quietly check out the game and speak with club officials, so he may well have been at your club and you not know. We also have a son of a FFSA employee playing at the club, so we see him 2 or 3 times a week. ...
