interesting that the winner from this tournament now must play the winner of the Asian leg to go on to England for the tournament. i believe the Aus/NZ winner went straight to England in previous tournaments :?:

Re: Adelaide Blue Eagles 2012 Scholarships

IMO, 14 years old is far too early to play u19s, 15 years old probably still too young except for the exceptional talented players skill wise and physical wise I long for the old days where the players had to earn the right to play at a higher level that was based on talent and committment rather t...

Received the Draft of the Junior Leagues two days ago & was confronted by Skillaroos Boys in the 14A league. Had I missed some corrrespondence from the FFSA over summer introducing/explaining to the clubs who this new team/club/organisation is. Typically the clubs have been left in the dark. So...

Allrise, my opinion is that too much opinion on performances are based on the score and who wins  I believe what we are looking for is players who can play and they might not be in a winning team, so I cant comment on the state teams game without seeing the games myself :D thank you Nova, a w...

Yes it will benifet those kids that are selected, but I think this is the FFA's way of saying clubs are not technically developing these young kids well enough themselves  Nova, so who do you think is to blame for the 14s and 15s not so good performances at the Nationals? the FFSA or the Club...

Re: Good luck to both U14 & U15 State Teams

Tony Vidmar was coach of the 15s. One of the parents told me he was in the selector's box on a regular basis between games. So 5 of his players get selected. Same thing apparently happened with his institute team at the start of the year. SASI finished 2nd but received extra bonus points to move th...

might also put into perspective CCSC's efforts at the Australian Qualifications in melb earlier this year. the only team they lost to was the Sharks. not bad for a team playing most of the their games after day 1 with no bench thanks to decimating injuries. Need to look at grass roots junior development as well. Perhaps look a the Spanish system youth system rather than the Dutch centric philosophy that domintates the FFA. I concur. no point spending $6m on the National Coach and end up with players who can't play when they get there. Spend some of th...

What ever happen to fair play ? I witness a disgraceful display yesterday at the U17 ABE v Adelaide City yesterday from the AC linesman.
