Re: Modbury Jets Soccer Club - Season 2010 Junior Coaches
it might be time to get my cones out of the shed, clean the dust off my boots and remember how to spark up teenage interest in the game instead of cars and girls, i havent been involved in coaching this year, and I really miss it, reckon Modbury 16's would be a great challenge. great club, hopefully ...

Re: JPL U17 cup final : Adelaide Blue Eagles vs Para Hills
para hills have not impressed all year. there sitting mid table with no chance of winning the league. I have seen a couple of para's 17's games this year, and they did look ordinary, the quarters win against Adelaide City was a complete shock to most, including the para boys themselves. I didnt see ...

Re: 1'7 a's
personally I think that Para's u17 are well of the pace this year,
last year we had a great side, this year it seems to be a one man team.
the captain Gyrus, is a great player, the rest of the team are pretty ordinary.

Re: Adelaide City U/16 and U/17 R looking For Players
Teddles, i believe you have been misinformed.Maximum outlay is $860. 500 rego 360 for tracksuit,polo,2 playing tops etc etc. This price is for newcomers.Your following year you can save the expense of tracksuits, bags etc I believe registration with FFSA is $23 per child, is the remaining $477 ...

Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
povman, until this year the u17 ( & u16 if aplicable ) were based on the previous years u15 results. as of 2009 the u15 will determine the u16 division, u16 will now determine u17 division. I belive all clubs are required to have an u16 this year ( as last year but nothing is enforced in ffsa ) the ...

Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
from what I have heard I would be putting my money on Birkalla or Campbelltown, with Modbury and Parahills fighting for 3rd & 4th spots. Campbelltown are a great side, well skilled lads with good football sense, pity the coach is an ignorant loudmouth. Birkalla have always been a great side and with ...

Re: SASI
I totally agree with 91132 as far as 'how' some lads get into SASI. personally I think the players that do get in are good, and some are great players, but there are alot of players out there that dont get selected as they are 'outsiders' or may get totally overlooked. Players with 'connections ...

17A Strikers 0-7 Para hills Does that mean Para Hills secure the u17A title?? yes, we won the 17A title yesterday, came down to the last game, great effort by the boys. I think Parahills won 5 age groups this year, with 16's doing the double, great effort. I heard a rumour that our 15's were told ...

Re: U13 Cup Final
I saw the start of this match after our game, and decided to stick around and watch for a while. fantastic quality of play for such young boys, comets always looked like a chance to score and finally did in the second half, following soon after with the second. if this is how two teams of 13 year ...

Re: JPL CUP FINALS
I agree Barney, the WAB keeper was best on ground in second half, pulled of some magical saves and stopped an embarrassing scoreline, well done to the lad. game was one sided from the start with Para getting a couple of goals in the first few minutes, but to the credit of WAB, they kept trying until ...

Re: Semi Finals under 15s 2morrow whos going to win??
I watched the Campbelltown V West Adelaide game at the paddocks, it was a fairly ordinary game, usual rubbish sprouted from the sidelines and coaches boxes, ref had game under control. from what I have heard the City V Para game was a cracker, pity it wasnt the final at Hindmarsh, both teams very ...

Re: Junior Quarter Final Results
it would seem very strange if the keeper was spoken to or 'scouted' for next season,
Para hills have thre excellent keepers in 16, 15A and 14A, and if the current 17 keeper doesnt make the 19's next year he would make a fourth keeper trying out for the 17A spot.
sounds like 'storytime' to me!!

Re: Jnr Cup Finals - Who will win it?..?
here is a 'non bias' view on the game, Parahills did in fact have the majority of play and the salisbury defence was quite strong and gave nothing away. Parahills scored in the first two minutes of the match and were unable to score again, the players were giving up the ball, missing targets and ...

Re: Round 11 reults
u16's is still considered a 15'B team and I personally think it will be a few years before it is accepted as a true age group. admittidley there is some talent there with 'late bloomers' and this will definately have an impact on selecting the following years 17A squads. The u16 games that I have ...

aaaah, i didnt think the ref looked like an official ref, he did a fair job, let the play go on where neccessary, he did at one point speak to the linesman regarding his interpretaion of offside, as the parahills player appeard to be well behind the sweeper as the ball was kicked, possibly calling ...

ooo thats gonna be a close one the 15's, campbelltown will make it to the final, they had the easiest run i reckon.. but they wont win it, i reckon the winner out of Para Hills v Adl City (semi-final) will win the cup..
so para hills then
lol not too sure, the only thing that are ...

if it is all above board, and players are the right age, let it be, it can only improve the quality of the game, and after all the shite, better oposition is the best way to grow as a player.

metro may have had a chance, a very, very small chance, but a chance none the less.
apparently para had two players injured, leaving only one sub, and the keeper played his first game since a broken arm in round 1.

para hills 17's are a very strong team, they do show lapses from time to time to alllow the quick break, but all in all will do well this year.

I have seen the second half of alot of u15 games due to us playing after, all sides seem quite evenly matched excluding comets and maybe blue eagles, but it is still early in the season, and I think campbelltown and cumberland are on the improve. alot of small bodies out there, maybe playing up in ...

ok, I am here and I have the lowdown on who is who..... Barney Rubble .... one time coach of the Bedrock Brawlers, forced into early retirement when half his team were found 'stoned' at dino burger, a few others were crucified and the keeper was burnt as a witch!! Rabbit ...... formerly known as ...
