Re: Suggestions for improvement of refereeing standards.
I agree totally with you marooned, the current situation with referee quality & numbers isn't & hasn't improved over the last few years in the SAASL Premier League & it certainly is a area that the Association needs to address other wise they may loose a disilllusioned Premier League Club to the ...

Re: Bottle thrown by Downs supporter at Farm players
clubs should have the right to say if the referee was good bad or average They do have that right. It doesn't count for anything but they do have the right. they don't at the moment a referee can have bad game after bad game & still get a Premier league game because we haven't got enough quality ...

Re: Bottle thrown by Downs supporter at Farm players
F*k me I've been saying pay the referee's in the 1st Division more money for years & make them accountable for poor performances clubs should have the right to say if the referee was good bad or average after all we're paying & it is our competition & our $$$... We the SAASL are in a position to pay ...

Re: Bottle thrown by Downs supporter at Farm players
Very harsh to blame the Elizabeth Downs S.C for a idiot throwing a bottle even if he was a member, All a club can do is set policies state whats expected & administer punishment when things like this happen. Look at the size of the club & the huge crowds they get to every home game its a credit to ...

Re: SUNDAY LEAGUE RESULTS - 2009/06/21
I have never and would never bag another club for there supporters not buying from our club. Even though some dont, and I certainly wouldn't take the soft option and say that other clubs say they have the reputation for bringing there own! To say Gardens have had that reputation is a joke! Ask the ...

To say he didn't touch anyone is ridiculous. Touching the refs card and ripping it up is not different to touching the ref and should be consider as the same offense. I tell you what Nugget, next time you get pulled over by the cops, how about the take the cops little black book and tear it up and ...

Just on the Mohammed issue raging here - i wasnt at the incident and wont comment on it but I have known Mo since he basically stepped off the plane from Egypt. East to bounce back for our first win in awhile. Could be a few changes to the line up. So are the rumours true? Who will be taking over at the East? Rumour is after the loss on the weekend he has walked away. Will be intersting to see how east bounce back with a new man in charge. true??

Re: SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE - ROUND 9
I can't believe Mo and the Gardens are appealing for what he did. This is a disgrace and shame to read the Gardens supporting this behavior towards refs. He deserves everything he gets. It is because of idiots like him that the amateur league is struggling for Referee's. Without ref's we don't have ...

I guess I was only expecting more as this thread started with someone thinking it will be the biggest crowd we have ever had at our ground since we joined the sat league I'm tipping that's not your normal size crowd & that you haven't had a bigger crowd than that for a while... hoping the next cup ...

I went to this game also but was a bit dissapointed with the size of the crowd, thought more might have come out for it. Agree Jets keeper was great, luckily because I thought the rest of the team didnt look much chop, Gardens dominated the game for the full 90 minutes, never looked like losing ...

Re: modbury jets vs parafield gardens cup game
This was a great game & it didn't dissappoint the big crowd that turned out to watch, Gardens dominated posession for most of the 1st half but couldn't put any of the 20 or so shots in the back of the net . The Jets keeper got a real work out from 10 seconds into the game till right to the end ...

we would have but the other team were good blokes........... as i said a few ver bad tackles but over all good blokes............... such good players would not be fair to only give them a forfeit win Ok, but still maybe send a letter to the league. If the other team were good blokes maybe they can ...
