Re: Junior Development clinics
Any thoughts at starting up a southern academy? Options down south are very, very limited, whilst northern suburbs have them happening on every second corner.

Re: Adelaide Utd Soccer School
We didn't sign up. Too little information provided about the things that matter eg exactly who will be coaching my son and how many kids in his group. $795 is a lot of money to commit, based on a basic A4 promotional flyer.

Adelaide Utd Soccer School
Has anyone registered their child in the Adelaide United Football School? I've been considering registering my son but am still undecided. Does anyone know who will be coaching, ratios of kids to coaches etc? As far as I'm aware there is no enrolment limit/cap on clinic size, and there has been a ...

Re: Southern club options
I appreciate the info. But I'm still not sure why South Adelaide are considered exclusive? Cove $680 for U8/U9 age group, which is $200 more than South Adelaide... I guess I'll need to figure this out come trials/come and try.

Just seen on Cove website that they have announced a Junior Director- Mark Curtis.toffeefox wrote:Hi Soccer_2015
Cove has Tom Ballantyne as their head coach, very qualified but I think his focus is on their older players at the moment and they have a lot of work to do to develop the young age groups.

Thanks for your replies. I guess I'm just trying to get a feel for people's thoughts and experiences because I'm missing the advantage of local knowledge/friends with kids who've played before etc. So all replies/information help.

Southern club options
Relatively new to SA as a State and very new to the Adelaide soccer scene... been involved for just one season here with my son in Mini Roos... Living south of the city, and it seems our club options are limited compared to the north and western suburbs. Cove appears on the expensive side, Panthers ...

Re: South Adelaide Panthers Junior Trials 2015
Do the Panthers only have one team registered in small-sided games because they select (trial) players as young as U6 (vs a "come and try" and all can register after), and choose to develop a small/select bunch of kids, or is this purely based on a lack of numbers to create more than one team in ...

Re: AC Mlan Soccer School Clinic - October Holidays
Who will be coaching the clinic and what will the ratio of kids to coach be? A lot of money without specifying further details (I have also been to the website) of what distinguishes this holiday clinic from other holiday clinics which operate at a fraction of the cost.

Soccer Schools, Clinics, Academies...
Hi everyone, I'm thinking about taking my son to a clinic to improve his skills. I'm aware of a few academies operating, but just wondering if anyone has any recommendations based on their experience? Have you seen much improvement in your child's game as a result of attending an academy above and ...

If all clubs advertising trials bump themselves to the top (hog) then details of all trials are easy to locate... delete it all in a few weeks when trials are done... I don't see the problem..

Re: Club Trials
Good post thanks Geoff. I agree, staying at the one club and working through problems that arise is the way to go, I just hope the junior coaching directorship/structure/kids at my son's club doesn't change too much in the times ahead. Research shows that when a child changes school it sets their ...

What does Team Manager role involve
I see the title "Team Manager" listed next to a few Junior teams in our club. My son's team hasn't had a Team Manager this year, but I would like to help out so I am considering putting my name up for this role next season - can someone provide details about what the role of Team Manager involves?

Re: Club Trials
Thanks for the replies guys. Maybe if the group of kids he has become friends with on his team were to all ...
