Re: Cup Round

I thought that the cup semi-final round you couldnt play a player who hasnt played in either the quarter finals or prior rounds. Note that a few clubs did today.

Or has there been a rule change?

Re: Soccer training grounds with lighting

Had to give up a wednesday arvo to turn up right after the school bell to coach the teams.

Good luck as its like herding cats if not immediately after school.

Woodville hockey club has grased pitch with lighting suitable for training. They are more West though.

Re: West Adelaide U16s 2019

Exactly!

So how can the JTD and the club be saying to the kids that they are in U16 JPLB?

False advertising I say.

West Adelaide U16s 2019

Ok a bit of a stir of the pot, however have heard that the West Adelaide U16s for 2019 have been told by the club that they are in U16 JPL B. I thought nothing had been sorted as yet as to who has nominated for which league and secondly am amazed that a team that came last in U15s JPL B in 2018 woul...

so next week being the last week of school term, there's quite a number with trials on the Friday night - 28th September....last day of school.

I just cant see how clubs could have overlooked this and not made changes.

Various club trials......

Am gobsmacked that so many clubs have Junior Trials on the Friday 28th September. This is the last day of school term, I cant see many kids wanting to go out or for that matter parents wanting to take them out when they might be packing or even travelling for the holidays. But then which is worse? h...

Re: Another Day More Disgraceful Behaviour

Pity the FFSA dont come out to watch games on the sly and to actively check player identity. I have seen not only poor behaviour from parents - like one parent yelling "take him out, cut him down" but also heard a player (U15s) scream that they were going to get a knife and stab someone - the ref sa...

Re: SAP ?

Totally agree on that!!! Have never seen an FFSA official at a junior match in that capacity. You do see coaches who are part of the programs with their club's junior teams but never someone out in the official capacity. Same goes for someone to check Refs (secretly) and spectators!! Spot checks on ...

Fball12 - sorry have to disagree. Re: Adelaide United looking for a new home for W league

$80k to run a match at Hindmarsh........that is quite an amount........but then you have lets say 8000 attend @ $25 per head (average) .....that's near $200k but then the overheads and the take by the FFA/FFSA and visiting club would cut into that amount (not to mention that a small percentage would...
