Re: Season 2020

Being a football family and all in these extraordinary times, the ffsa should generously donate their plastic pitches and other facilities for use for clubs that will lose their grounds to cricket & athletics. Can fit a good number of games per day on plastic. Very good point, N5 1BH. Those plastic...

I was lucky enough to watch the Dortmund match, they were superb and inventive but Schalke were very poor, Still, it got the blood flowing again, more please! Dortmund are an exciting team. Total attack. Players were forgetting social distancing in some games when goals scored. All over each...

Phew! That was close. I thought Liverpool would match Arsenal’s record of going a whole EPL season unbeaten.

The Invincibles of 2003/04 keep their record intact. Long may it stay so!

Glad I got up to watch 3 terrific goals by Arsenal to overcome Everton.

Now only 4 points and striking distance of 5th spot.

Is it confirmed that 5th position gets a Club into the Champions League if ManCity’s sanction stands?

Interesting topics to be discussed by the Laws Board on Sat 29 Feb in N.Ireland include: * allowing concussion subs during the 3-minute assessment period and even after if a player is affected and cannot carry on. Thoroughly outplayed by a relentless China but escaped at the end by equalising to make it 1-1 and top the Group. Kerr and others strangely anonymous for much of the game. G.Isn’t.A.E., I’m confused. I’m sure I read on some post that you wrote that teams should be fined if they field weakened teams. Wasn’t that the case in ye olde days so big clubs couldn’t field weakened teams which could cause an opponent’s relegation? And you don’t think that principle holds in tha...

0-0 halftime. Don’t know how Australia has managed to hang on. Deficient technique yet again. Poor defending of short corners yet again. Can’t keep giving the ball away like that.
