Re: Under 15's - JPL 2012

Oh it matters to Croydon that's why they have perfected the art of stacking team most rounds during the year.
They have added to the LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2012 banner in the Clubrooms to now include 15JPL CHAMPIONS as well.
And they keep preaching the Development line....pfffttt.

Re: U17 teams for 2013

Adelaide City won't field a 17's team as only 3 players bothered to turn up to trials.
Next years 17 comp will be 3rd rate at best so Croydon can market them as an 18B team but in affect its of 17C standard.
With the money Croydon currently owe the more teams the merrier.

Amazing how Metro allowed the Reserves coach to continue til the seasons end despite being a bona fide Stat Decer himself. No wonder the burnt players/parents are leaving. The whole episode was a disgrace by the Metro people. Don't complain now.

it`s common knowledge what croydon do in regards to dropping players down to chase results, and good on them if they are happy with that, some times it works, other times it doesnt, thats fine if thats what croydon like to do, no one is saying it`s cheating, but at least admit it, rather than get ...

Push to oust SAASL clubs from FFSA junior comps

Word from last Monday's Senior Chairman's meeting that clubs like Fulham may be excluded from entering teams in the FFSA run competitions from next season.
Anyone heard more on this?
Is it just Fed clubs trying to protect their turf?

Cards are a necessary evil while you have clubs like (insert Western Premier League club) who have been caught cheating 3 out of the last 5 years. They got done for unregistered, overage & also trying to use other players cards in a line up. If ever you play them card checks are a must.

The thing I love about the Amateur League is you put up with the sub standard football in order to see some quality hacking, serious brawls, endless threats especially to referees and more often than not a full on brawl & pitch invasion.

Just out of interest is this Fusion mob, (are they a club?)
-an Incorporated body

-a constitution
-keep minutes
-audited financials

This is some important aspects of being defined as a club.
