Re: Socceroos at 2014

While on paper it is a nightmare draw to get out f the group, but football is a funny game and he World Cup a funny tournament. Only takes a red card or an own goal or a screamer to change the tournament for a team. There's no reason we can't beat chile. They are a very good team but we are capable ...

Re: Who will win the World Cup?

Germany. Easily. Playing Brasil in the final I would think. Belgium to make the semis. Brasil v argies in a semi or quarters. England knocked out in the round of 16.

Re: World Cup Tickets

After all the processes managed to end up with a ticket to each of the socceroos games. Meaning I have tickets to USA v Portugal in Manaus the day after the aus v chile game I believe. A quality game. Also have a bunch of rubbish games. I believe you can sell them back via FIFA if the game is a sell ...

Re: Provisional WC squad announced May 14

Aaron Mooy IMO is one of the brightest talents in the country, however his move to WSW has just about killed his chances of WC spot. For starters Shinji Ono is playing in his preferred role and where he is most dangerous in the no 10, and if Rogic is firing he doesn't have much on a chance. May ...

Future of Soceroos

Its pretty obvious that the next Golden Generation of Soceroos is some time away (decades probably). But in the short to middle term (lets say 10 or so years) there are players who have shown enough potential. With years to develop and grow how will these guys go in the green and gold as the next ...

These things happen all the time in football. I'm sure Fergie's moved on. It's not as if he wanted to let him go, he tried to keep him but the kid wanted out. Probably would have played 10-20 games this season but obviously wasn't quite ready last season or Fergie would have played him more. The ...

Craig Goodwin will be the next permanent (or longer term) Soceroos left back. With Zullo a possible stop gap in the next 2 or so years.

Pirie score confirmed. second week in a row we gave up a 2 nil lead....just not good enough unfortunately!!!! Weve definately had our chance to get promoted and if we dont (i think theres still a chance????) we only have our selves to blame. Well in Plympton...take the initiative after going 2 down ...

University Games 2012

Its that time of year again. UniSA Football is looking for players to play in the Central Unigames. In order to qualify for Australian University Games (held in Adelaide later in the year) UniSA must beat Flinders and Adelaide Uni. The better state clubs are going to be promoted so there's no point discussing them; however I think the lower State League clubs are at the comparative level of the better sides of Sat Div 1 there you have it, we do not know the answer we can only think what is true. No slight on your thoughts but ...

Re: Cup Qualifier against Saudi Arabia

I thought Bresh had an ordinary first half, but was b.o.g. in the second half. And Brosque, well without being an international superstar he seems to be fitting in very well in the squad and is a great alternative should Kennedy not play or Holger decides to play less direct.
