Re: Paying players
Paying cash. None of the things you list. I don't see the issue, some clubs pay coaches to do a job, club refs and SAASL refs to do a job, some will even pay club lines people to do a job, BBQ cookers, canteen managers etc etc all get paid at some clubs to do a job, so why is it wrong to pay a play...

Re: Paying players
Not interested in the names of clubs, but just wondered if anyone knows how many clubs in Div 1 and 2 Saturday pay their players? Define paying...... Club fees covered? Dinner and or drink vouchers? Fuel? Playing gear? Event tickets? Cold hard cash which could be used to do all of the above. 90% (i...

i can't see the arbe bosa game being played anytime soon as they wont want to play saturday then monday. End of the day the game may not need to be played unless it affects the league and that may be sorted before the game can be played in both cases. ARBE might do an athelstone and forfeit at the ...

You list 20 players and then go back in after the game and remove who didn't play matching the team sheet, it's not rocket science.

Re: Unregistered Players
We transfered a player and couldn't touch or select the player for 7 days on resultsvault, Alex has also said that players on resultvault doesn't mean they are registered as they need to finalise the registration, in fact they said no card, no registration. Even this week we have a player who was an...

it always amazes me how some clubs seem to always draw the low clubs and or at home vs a diff day club draw after draw.

not all clubs...... one club were asked for a 10am Sunday kick off instead of the offered 12pm and I heard the coach laughed.

they don't, I was commenting from this - It's fairly simple really. I'm sure if a club approached you in the same manner and asked to change a venue then you'd be more than happy to oblige - clubs do not oblige is my point. I think considering the circumstances the SAASL should assist with all Sunda...

And if the player plays for the club that want him before that 7 days? States Best Facilities? When was the last time you played the main pitch? That matchbox pitch you play on is a sand pit. Awful Facilities includes clubrooms and changerooms... just because you didn't play on the main pitch, doesn't mean you need to be bitter... I'd rather get changed in Budpests ti...

Re: 2016 player movements
So if a club just doesn't respond then the wait is 7 days? And the player can't play til then? correct, if the player decides to not go get his clearance the saasl will submit the request to the said club and they have 7 days to reply before it happens or they sign and its done. Not doing it yourse...

The 7 days is a worse case scenario, ie a club refuses to sign the release, after 7 days the release is automatic

I'm from no club, as stated "watched" meaning not playing, point is look in own backyard before saying such dribble cos if PAFC don't have technical areas, chairs and gazebos at their home ground get ready to hear all about from natives.

Unley United A's Played Maiwand A's in the cup game on Sunday, and we had a very good match losing 3-4. Maiwand were very well behaved and are a skillful and friendly team, so there were no issues during the game. PAC played the 'reserves' and their supporters were being quite inappropriate, even s...

basically players wouldn't go there because of guys like paulie, yet at the same time no one would help so they could release guys like paulie, which unfortunately created a very bad stigma for the club.

how can the "best" 16 players with the "best" coaching they can get lose to a JPL team. I remember a family member was the coach of a poor club and had a few very talented kids playing a year up. Anyway they played the STIC team twice and on both occasions they beat the STIC team...

maybe they could merge with another club who does the same, they could call themselves 'eleven stars'.
