Re: Real Over 35s League

Sorry to hijack the thread but I intend playing Sunday morning over 35's this year but don't know a soul playing for any team so I though I might advertise my services here (ooer missus, nooooh MATRON!!) Anyone here playing this year who thinks their team might need players please drop me a line.. I ...

Re: Closest teams to the Yorke Peninsula?

There have been a few raised eyebrows when I ask the question locally about a team but that said I have located a greek fella who used to play in Adelaide and there will be an indoor comp locally.. Might look into the Pirie idea.. Although I was hoping for a C grade team full of fat old fella's like ...

Re: Closest teams to the Yorke Peninsula?

if you are that keen maybe you should try and start up a team from the york peninsula, surely there would be enough interest and it would be a great away weekend for teams travelling from adelaide Kadina Killers FC! I could look into starting a team but doing that as well as going through the messy ...

Closest teams to the Yorke Peninsula?

Hi all, Wondering if someone can tell me where I might find a team to play next year. Played Sat Div 4 this year for Murray Bridge (A and B Grade) but i am moving to Kadina in a week or so and would be interested in playing maybe sunday mornings for either an over 35 team or a amateur side with a B ...

Re: Saturday Div 4 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours

I think this league was tougher than Div 3 last year! I tend to agree with you, Flud. I saw several games last year and this year and apart from MA Hawks who I reckon will push for promotion to Div 1, Pumas, Simba, Murray Bridge and maybe Falcons would more than compete with the other Div 3 teams ...

Re: Saturday Div 4 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours

Not sure about the TV v MB 0-0 being agreed but I dont see any point. It would not affect us or anyone else so really no point in playing.. We picked up so many injuries on Saturday against Simba that it would be mostly our reserve team playing anyway.. A third place finish in both Grades will have ...

Re: Saturday Div 4 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours

lol lucky you guys can both sort out your differences next season in div 4 :) Isn't there still a chance that Falcons could still go up. They have a catch up game and with any restructures/clubs folding etc.. that might occur, the team in 3rd (or even 4th) could still go up. We can't take Bridge as ...

If anyone is suggesting that OISC loaded their B grade side let me point a couple of things out.. Re: Saturday Div 4 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours

So it all comes down to the last game to be played at our place next week Vs Simba.. I think ACU and Iggies can still go third if we lose to Simba AND to Torrens Valley but its a long shot.. Second place is what is left to play for and if we win next week then we just need to complete the job with a ...

I look forward to seeing ACU bounce back with a HUGE win over Simba this week.. The loss to iggies helps the boys from the bridge out no end but I am sure Simba will be on the wrong end of the backlash this week Our fate this season is still in our own hands and at least if we do win second you lot ...
