Still more work to be done at United with more players to be brought in.

Both Swansea goals came from a deflection or miss kick. Thats what happens to you when your in a rut.

Such an easy start to fixture draw so they are likely to pick up some points here and there fairly soon. The aura they once had looks to have gone, but one bad game is just that. Either way, happy to see them lose! :D

I guess an early loss with highlight the need for reinforcements. This might force thru some transfers that are required.

That's the only positive I can get out of it!

I believe Van Gaal, this season he will rebuild the United. And now they want to sign Di Maria.

They won't be doing that on the cheap.

Van Gaal has a habit of slow starts but eventually leads his teams to glory. imo United fans like myself didn't give Moyes time because he hadn't really proved himself trophy wise at any big clubs. Van Gaal euro glory with Barca etc., League champs with Bayern, Barca, and led a netherlands team which no one thought would go far to the Semi's. Someone as big as Van Gaal deserves time, he will get it. Now he needs the bloody funds...

Van Gaal won the CL with Ajax in 1995

Lost the 96 final to Juventus

hitting the trung nguyen hard I see

but in all seriousness, of course, how stupid of me to not assume they will be league champions this season, considering their highest achievement in English football was the league cup in 2013

Poor Van Gaal, two matches got only 1 point, that's even worse than Moyes. A good news is that Ancelotti said that Di Maria will join the United with about €70millions transfer fee

Can he play CB or RB??
They could buy a whole new defence for that amount

60 Million Euros.. still a bucket load of $$ but worth it I reckon

imo the defence is of greater concern tho

Di Maria is a good player, however I am glad to see that they are spending their money on positions that they don't need to reinforce.

 Ok LVG you can stop mucking around now! We get it you need more players!

I can't believe the club hasn't bought any defenders yet this has become a very sad joke!

Line up; De Gea; M Keane, Evans, Vermijl, James, Powell; Janko, Anderson, Hernandez, Kagawa; Welbeck. n the bench was Amos, McNair, Thorpe, A Pereira, Januzaj, Zaha, Wilson.

M. K. Dons 4 Manchester United 0 in the 1st round of the Capital One (League) Cup.

Seeing Man.United are not involved in the UEFA Champions League this season, why didn't van Gaal play his strongest line-up?

MK is correct, as in Milton Keynes. I mis-typed in earlier post.

Not a bad result for MK Dons, a League 1 (third tier) side. I wonder what their budget is compared to Man.United's.
