Squad for Uzbek game a disgrace

What is Pim Verbleak doing? He has not picked a single player who excites the senses! Instead he has picked a robotic almost 'germanic' workman like squad, full of grafters and shin breakers who can run the boston marathon but couldn't pass gas let alone a ball! Where are the N Burns, Troisi's, Djite, Inmans, Nicky Carles etc to excite the fans...instead we have hack jobs like Jacob Burns and Garcia???

What are you on? Honestly what is it? Come on, were all friends here - we can form a support group
If you hadn't noticed - and sadly it appears you hadn't, if we win, we qualify for our second World Cup, therefore pick your tried and tested best squad (the one's that have us unbeaten and at the top of our group)
Once qualified we have over one year to experiment

burns is sitting on the pine never plays anymore, troisi is fringe player, inman is untried at club level no why would you pick him, and verbeek doesn't like the style of play that carle is doing these days, not being as creative, djite was added to the squad but again he is a fringe player and not really tried at international level...
so you say kewell and grella can't pass....

Nathan Burns hasn't done his career much good by going to AEK... unless he finds his true level in Europe, he will be back in Oz in a year or two....

What is it with all this talk about 'entertaining the fans'? I reckon getting to the world cup is enough entertainment. Who cares how they do, as long as they win!

We were rusty in first half, but warmed up in the second. Gee I think Bresciano and Kewell have style and flair.

sorry iPOD but that is an absolute joke of a post. you sound like the AFL heads who aren't happy unless a game has 7 goals scored?
