Table looks interesting now

1. Australia 4 +3 7
2. Qatar 4 0 7
3. Iraq 5 -1 7
4. China -2 3

Hopefully Australia can win tonight, and then next round Iraq beat Qatar.

Is that a full time result? I was watching it on Al Forat and then all of a sudden they stopped the pictures and at this point is still running old footage. I was wondering if there was crowd trouble or something.

I saw about 68 minutes of it, then some Arabic text came across the screen and they started showing all sorts of odd footage from last year's Asian Cup and the 2006 World Cup plus qualifiers up to now consisting of more Arabic text which I couldn't read. I know the Chinese sometimes get violent if they don't win and as they were losing at the time was wondering if something had happened. It seems like it didn't but why they didn't finish showing the game is a bit of a mystery which I'll probably never know the answer to.

Bodo you shoulda seen what ESPN did once during an NBA game. A minute left the scores were tied in overtime and they went to a recorded talkshow program.

Japan used to do that with football too. If referees added on stoppage time the coverage would just have a promt "this program was brought to you by <insert sponsor>" and then go to the next program. I was expecting that to happen in the 2005 Uefa League final btween Liverpool and Milan but I got a shock... they showed it right up until the completion of the shoot out, but didn't show us Liverpool lifting the trophy.
