Smith now out twice, maybe I should start whingeing like an aussie about DRS.

Well smith's been out 3 times now. I can either accept it as "shit happens" or whinge?

I'll go with shit happens, swings and round abouts.

The cons will claim their hard done by but 3-1 decisions in their favour today.

formula 1 - you missed the earlier 'joke'? they have a DRS of a very different kind, drag reduction system.

both of them hit the ball, Prior then caught the ball. That's a wicket, why didn't they walk? Broad was called a cheat for not doing so.

smith knew he hit it, he should have walked. CHEAT!

same with khawaja.

annoying that we lost both our referrals for things that were out.

Khawaja....

Didn't see Smiths but he is still there so I would presume he didn't as well.

3rd umpire should be dismissed immediately. Cant wait to hear his explanation re Khawaja.
That said, if he was given not out, would we still be 3/303? Maybe it was a blessing!

Just get rid of the DRS, leave the decisions good or bad to the on field umpires.

Using that logic, khawaja hit it and is out.

What about smith's catch and 2 x LBW's?

Swings and roundabout and on day 1 you've had your time on the swings.

As I said, it's swings and roundabouts. I'm merely pointing out the idiocy of aussie whingeing.

Getting pretty sick of your constant racism to your betters as well, go and have a shower you smelly wog. You stink of garlic.

smith didnt hit it, the sound you hear is clearly after the ball has gone past the bat by about 50cm

i dont know what the sound was though, it was quite confusing

are you thinking of khawaja's. Smith clearly hit it! Even Damien Martyn agrees with that one, says he was riding his luck as he should have been given out 4 times. (I'm struggling with the 4th one)

The 4th. one is just because he is Smith !
The sound you hear is the English team popping their chewing gum or they have bubble wrap in their pockets :)
Or worse still, they have a recorded snick as a ring tone on their iPhones and get someone to call them as the ball is delivered !

I cant see anyone "whingeing" about DRS - its the idiot third umpire who is supposed to use it correctly. Otherwise, the only whingeing done on this thread seems to be coming from a certain englishman.

Two choices for ICC.

1. Scrap DRC and Third Umpire completely . Thats why they have umpires.

2. Scrap umpires completely and just have two ball counters . Technology make all decisions and relay them to players via the ball counter.

I would vote for number one everytime.
