The league didnt publish yearbooks back then.

There was an SAASL Yearbook in 1974 which has the 1973 statistics (I have a photocopy).
Prior to that there were some stats published in the SASF Yearbooks which I have photocopies of for 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973.

I'll get around to the other info when I have time (scanning and uploading the material takes a fair bit of time !)

I was talking to a local today at O'Sullivan Beach and he remembered that the first team to play there was Hills Industries who he believed had quite a few players of Yugoslavian origin playing for them.
I know there was a team in 1972 called O'Sullivan Beach who also had may players of Yugoslavian origin and went on to become Adelaide United (the SAASL side).
Just wondering if anyone out there knows if Hills Industies went on to become O'Sullivan Beach

Thanks Swanny, thats the one. It was my first season back playing the round ball game after 6 years of playing Aussie rules. I had alot of fun.
Infact if I am at a party and most of these guys are around I quite often hang around them as apposed to the younger brigade.

I have kept some records of my own but mostly I source information from SAASL Year Books (or photocopies of) from 1974 - present.
Earlier information comes from SASF Year Books from 1969-1973......and I have a shed !
