2009 Cancer Cup.......with pics

A good day out for the football community rallying behind a very worthy cause.
Thoughts and wishes go out to Dave Gilligan and his family, best of luck with the fight.
Thanks to Rik Cooper for kicking off the idea, and all those at South Coast United and Hackham Community Sports and Social Club
who got behind the idea and made it happen.

Personally I think Dave Eggers would look better in red and white stripes rather than the vista blue. :wink:

That would be Nathan Fleetwood (number 10) who plays for raiders but I don't think he quite gets $1000 a game. Indeed Mr X and I were certainly a little worse for wear after our big night and not getting home until 4.30 am that morning. I think I got the better end of the bargain being able to stand around most of the day while he earnt his "match payment".

Fantastic day to be involved in and will enjoy playing again next year, hopefully after a quiet one the night before.

BTW I reckon that keeper in the final certainly looked the part, Don't you?? :wink:

I've had a few requests for copies of photos.
As with all report photos I have posted they are all available to download in various sizes from the Flickr site that hosts them.
I usually have a link to the folder within each report I have posted.
I don't have a great quality camera ( onl 3.1 MP ) so they probably wouldn't be great for blowing up too large.
