Tranmere Rovers off to a good start.
People are funny. They buy things they don't need with money they don't have to impress people they don't like.
Re: England - League One Thread

I think 12500-13000 was about their average for last season.ozzie owl wrote:swannsong wrote:Just to get the ball rolling for 2009....
Good result Swanny, is the crowd of 12,000 above average?

Southend is looking that good this year.
We sold our best player to Huddersfield in Peter Clarke and have only made 4 signings and they are all loans.
But Rhodes is quality, scored against Southend in the opener.

Now that's what I call high quality H2O.

Town have become something of a team of Clarkes. The Waterboy wrote:Southend is looking that good this year.

There's Manager Lee Clark

got done by norwich 5-2! paul lambert now in charge of norwich after he guided colchester to a 7-1 victory over the canaries only weeks ago. also ironic how his first game in charge for norwich was against wycombe who he managed two seasons ago

It's a shame to see Matt Letissier's old club Southampton struggling financially.

Hopefully Leeds can gain automatic promotion after all of the trouble we've had in the past four or five years.... 8 from 8 in all comps so far this season!!! Great start, keep it going lads!

From the radio coverage, it would seem that Huddersfield certainly didn't take on the Lions.

As a Yeovil fan I am getting a bit nervous about this season, just sitting above the drop zone and losing to teams below us on the ladder, not that there are many left ...

Bloody delighted with the start we have made, last few years we have made a bit of a slow start and then pushed up with 10 or so games remaining and push top 4ish.
Hopefully we can keep this run going until about mid season and just keep a nice 7 or 8 point gap between us and 3rd.. would give us something to work with at least.
Snodgrass playing very, very well.

massive game at dons this week for the mighty leeds.
solid effort tonight against a 2nd string pool side. great movement though, we can beat anyone in the championship too in my opinion!
goodluck to us for rest of the season! MOT!
