B's Fulham 4 - Southern Knights 0

Saw that Raptors beat gully in the B's - they must have played extremely well to do that

Im glad i didn't come down to the game this afternoon to see Farm get spanked 5-0...

Simmo must be ready to explode.

Something not right with the talent they have this year...too many heros maybe.

3 - 3 till the last two minutes when westies with 10 men scored 2 goals in last minute of the game.
florina down 3 - 1 then pulled back to 3 - 3 and all over westies and should have scored 2 or 3 more but our s-h-i-t keeper played his usual best & cost us another game.
Big boutso in golo!

Gee mate, how close do you live to the ground? Do you have mobile web because you should hang around for a beer after surely?!!!

I was at this one so here is a little review for ya....
First half was quite even as far as I could see, both teams knocking the ball around quite well. That is until Aitken had a minor brain freeze moment.... again. Some biased people probably would say it was very late and deliberate. Mind you the ref should have given him a free seconds earlier. Should mention east boy scored a bit of a nice free kick as he informed me prior to the game.
East continued to fight but were up against it with 10 men but still played ok I thought. Second goal for Lion was a lovely finish but I think really should have been a free to the sweeper as he almost got his head taken off by stooping to a header at about chest height.
From there on in Lion really were taking the p iss for a while there and probably should have won by more....
PS nice goal by the bloke who lobbed kirky from about 35 out off his line (very unlike Kirky!!!)

Florina 3 Westies 5
Wow what a finish to such an important game! Up 2 nil at the half on the back of some quality finishing. We knew Florina would come back at us hard in the second and they were hard at it right up to the last whistle. We conceded 3 scrappy goals and at three all had a player sent off for dissent. Florina were flying and we were under the pump until the last few minutes when we capitalised on some hard work by the forwards to tuck away 2 in about 5 mins. Great fighting spirit by both squads and we are elated with the 3 points. I don't usually comment on the standard of the refereeing but today was very poor. I'm okay with a ref being tough on the standard of tackling and contesting the ball but today all we had to do was breathe on an opponent and the :clown: would blow up. It's a real shame and could've ruined an exciting contest by 2 teams who battled hard all day. The send off was a disgraceful decision but it was probably par for the course with the rest of his game. Great win by the Westies lads again, So please boys continue to tip against us for the rest of the year. WE LOVE IT!!!!

Great win for the Knights, with Inter losing to Croatia, the six point gap remains.

Inter promoted today with Raptors losing to Gully. :)

Well done to Croatia. Big credit must go to coach Kuzman. Able to get all injured players back in and firing. Croatia have beaten top sides in past few weeks interesting to see if they can see. have some great players from the past. Branko's first game of the year big chance to stay up now after not having won a game for half the season.

Well done kuz keep up the work. lets hope they don't lose it and start belting the crap out of officals and opposition players/supporters.

well done today redsfan. Westies were awesome for first 45mins. Florina played some excellent attacking football in the 2nd half and were warranted to get it back level at 3-3. But with 20 mins still to go there was plenty of time for more goals and fitness was to b a huge factor in this. Young eric v.ryswick pooring forward he skinned two florina midfielders before slotting a great ball through for a very tired m.harris. Harris had no right to get to that ball but some how dug deep and manged to beat 2 defenders and the keeper to the ball and break florina hearts with a fantastic toe pock home from 10yards for decisive 4th goal.

referee was not great and doesn't always make it easy to play good football, but he was bad for both teams. Agreed send off was not warranted but every one knows what you get with this ref. 3 or 4 yellows to westies for dissent and/or kicking ball away will always guarantee yellow/red from this ref, and every other ref in this league.

Well done lads. long way to go till the end of the season. Keep working hard

The boys deserved it today - was tight at the end when Inter pulled a goal back but we deserved to to be in front by more at half time.

Sunday Div 3

B's - Adelaide Vikings 1 - Plympton Bulldogs 2
A's - Adelaide Vikings 6 - Plympton Bulldogs 0

Not too much positive about the b's game after 10 consecutive wins and closing the gap on 1st to just one point, quite possibly picked the wrong day to have a bad one. The b grade played nothing like they have done and I am sure will bounce back this weekend.
In the A grade we started well again with another early goal to put the dogs on the backfoot, in saying that we still were a little sloppy at the back at times and gifted the dogs a few good chances. We scored 2 more quick goals to make it 3 nil after 30 mins and effectively that was it. They then had a player sent off for a second yellow and we capitalised to make it 4-0 at HT. Against the breeze in the second half but against 10 men, we sort of messed around with it a bit in the second 45 and quite possibly should have blown it out but 2 more goals was enough for a solid effort. Sadly I think the dogs are gone for 08 :(

macos vs ppu
As 1-2
Bs 3-3

Great game between the Macedonia and Posttel A grade sides! both needed the win and it was good to see us come away with the 3 points! both teams played fairly and the ref was very strict but consistent and fair!
the reserves game however was a disgrace! it was definitely an old case of 12 men against 11 at an away game for us. it was by far the worst refereeing ive ever seen!

Was having some harmless banter with some of the croatia boys today. One of the replies to one of our comments was, they said "we dont want to get promoted, we are happy in div 2 or 3", what the shiraz is up with that?

All Credit to Crotia today, they did play better than us.

Baby Bodø is now in bed and I can finally write my thoughts. As I said above in the B's Plympton wanted a result more and in the end they got it. They took the lead within sixty seconds of kick off and held on to that lead for a fair part of the first half. Vikings equalised late in the half and it finished honors even at half time. Plympton restored their lead midway through the second half with a free kick which went straight through the wall and then held on to that lead.

In the A's pretty much agree with what Eric has said above. 4-0 at half time and within twenty minutes of the second half it was 6-0. There were chances after that to add to the lead but too many times trying to walk it in than actually giving it a hit when the opportunity was there to shoot. Throughout the game the Plympton keeper made some really good saves.

Thats a bit rough M Andrea all 5 goals weren't your keepers fault. When you play 3 up front for 90 minutes you do expoase yourselves to a lot of counter attack. Even down a man it just seemed you ran out of puff in the last 5 mins. Lay off the keeper mate it's almost never our fault!!!
