Chelsea 4-3 Leicester City

Post by King Of East »

Chelsea survived a major Halloween scare after coming from behind to beat Leicester 4-3 at Stamford Bridge.

Andrei Shevchenko saved holders Chelsea from being dumped out by managerless Leicester.

Leicester stunned the home side after just six minutes when Gareth McAuley headed home past Carlo Cudicini.

Frank Lampard drew Chelsea level on 20 minutes with a fine strike and the in-form midfielder grabbed his second nine minutes later to turn the game on its head

Leicester refused to lie down and DJ Campbell drew the Championship side level on 69 minutes.

The visitors then took the lead on 74 minutes with Carl Cort scoring his first goal for the club

Chelsea came roaring back and Shevchenko equalised for the hosts on 87 minutes with a superb finish.

Avram Grant's side grabbed a winner in the closing seconds when after an amazing goalmouth scramble Shevchenko saw his scuffed shot deflect off Juliano Belletti and into the net.

I lived in Leicester for 3 years. Does he say "mee duck" a lot?

Everyone from leicester either says mee duck or speaks gujerati.
