These Russian billionaires/criminal masterminds don't mess about do they?

Hiddinck would have to be favourite to take over as Abramovic pays his wages for the ERussian Federation and he will probably do both jobs with a couple of quality young assistants.

i dun think its joses fault he is leavin... i mean his team is great thats y theyve won the epl bak 2 bak, and have pushed hard into the late stages of the champions league.. i think roman is 2 blame for this... afta all he bought in 2 players, ballack and shev last yr simply cause they were 2 of his favourite players... this disrupted the chelsea line up and we saw sheva really struggle last season, and cnt get a game this season...

2 me the owner of a club gives the manager money when he wants a player... the owner doesnt buy a player against the managers wishes....
jose neva had the backing, and he himself sed he neva wanted shev and that it was all roman...

i hope they get fkd up bigtime now!!!

as much as i hated jose, he was a great manager, and 1 heck of a charactor

He was a fantastic manager & has given Chelsea & myself some wonderful moments. I think in the coming weeks the truth will come out as to why this has happened & until then i am not blaming anyone although i have seen the writing on the wall for some time now!

a fair & unbiased point of view, for that i thank you.

jose is a great manager, this cant be questioned.

man utd & arsenal show complete faith in their managers something chelsea could never do and as a result they may suffer.

truely a shock to hear who would want to get rid of a manager that has brought you 2 titles and a Fa cup in 3 years

but any way font runners for the job in my opinion would have to be capello and hiddink
I speak nothing but the truth

It's interesting to note that Michel Platini has been working hard trying to get support from governments to protect the game from the Abramovic's of the world.

No one wants to listen to him as the governments are reeling in the taxation payments all this money is generating.

These people aren't interested in the game itself, all they are after is to bathe in the spotlight success brings.

When they tire of the reflected glory they will just walk away without a backward glance leaving the game in chaos.

They gained Ballack and Sheva to be competitive in the Champions league! Cause they have been proven match winners in this competition before

Jose was an awesome manager when his teamwere underdogs but when they became the hunted he was found out a little

He leaves with the record of never having lost a match at home with the club which is pretty amazing!

I bet ya if abramovich didnt fork out all that cash on players then chelsea and mourinho wouldnt have won the epl, especially 2 yrs in a row.

He is one of the worst managers i have ever seen, even Kosmina is better than Arnold!

It's a tough gig for the new manager!!
It seems that they expect success but also alot of attacking style from the new manager.
So would capello be a chance for the job given the circumstances of his real departure,
Would Lippi want to take such a risk and tarnish his managerial career,
Houlier didn't cut it at liverpool, and
Guus may be too busy with ru$$ia.

Jurgen klinsman said this week that he wanted to take over Chelsea as coach, Martin Jol might get a look in as well
