A massive loss for Australias WC campaign.

Agree. Harry’s height will be missed, as will his tackles. And his distribution had improved markedly.

What’s with all the Dutchmen in the Indonesian team?
A bit dodgy!
It was once a Dutch colony and may have descendants from that era. Indonesia was the first Asian nation to participate at the World Cup when if played as the Dutch East Indies in 1930.

Funny match. Outdone for possession and shots, but got the chocolates bigtime. Need Japan to beat Bahrain right now.

Agree. They killed us in midfield and could have been 2-0 up had it not been for Ryan in good form in goal. Kluivert had them playing a good style.
The FiveAAFL brekky mob also wondered about the Dutch connection, but the Dutch were the colonisers of the Dutch East Indies and Indonesia . Radio FiveAAFL also didn’t know that as long as a player has been naturalised and has not played at senior level for another country then he can be capped for that country. He then cannot play for another country.

Doesn't eligibility go back to grandparents? I think the Aussies have done that a few times???
China v OZ 9.30pm Tuesday 25 March not on free-to-air TV so the majority of the population won’t be able to watch their National Team in that World Cup Qualifier.

F*c*ing FFA TV deal.

At least training won't have to be cancelled.

Very sarcastic, Mr Magoo. (Sarcasm being the lowest form of wit). I doubt many local clubs are still training at 9.30pm.
Who knows, a few local league players and officials might be interested in watching THEIR Nation’s World Cup Qualifier.
OR If they haven’t got Paramount bloody + they might venture to the Arkaba and watch on that pub’s giant screen. I think Para Hills Community Club and Salisbury North Football Club might also have Paramount bloody + too.

How easy for New Zealand. All they had to do is beat New Caledonia to make WC finals.
They played other games. They could have slipped up in this one. That said, when you dilute the tournament this is going to happen.
I was referring more to the OFC being a mickey mouse zone and qualification direct from there is a joke.
The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA.
OFC is predominantly made up of island nations where association football is not the most popular sport,
