Australia v Pakistan

Post by Bomber »

Hard to call, but can't see us losing the series. Pakistan can either be brilliant or totally crap - depends on which one turns up.

Australia unsettled (batting line up, including opening spot) so could be closer than normal.

Pattinson, Neser and Bancroft to miss out on 1st test.

You would think, but I think Neser/Pattinson may nick a spot in front of Starc

I'd pick Starc in front of them. Left arm option plus footmarks for Lyon to bowl into.

Agreed plus his record in Oz with the faster wickets and extra bounce is exceptional.

5/125 at the minute. I'd take that any day as the bowling side.

Haven't been watching but has there been any hint of the Pakistani bowlers trying to replicate how Broad bowled to him?

0/195 at tea off 51 overs very slow over rate that means 39 overs to be bowled in last session.

No different to Root and at least this time the third umpire had the balls to make the right call. Therefore no unfair advantage, so no big deal.

Are you going to call him a cheat?

Completely different to Root's. Root caught it, you may feel he didn't but it's debatable. This one isn't.

In that case, warner, bosnich, warne, sailor, armstrong, johnson aren't that bad either as they got caught.

So, you're a hypocrite then. You'll call an opposition player a cheat but you won't call an "aussie" one when you believe they have done the same thing.

So you're admitting they did the same thing? Then great. He's a cheat (that didn't get away with anything) and Root's a cheat that did get away with something.

Are they still a cheat if they just look for clarification and not sure about what happened?
