Small country?

Yes, his belly is bigger

ps, well done Poms beating the all-blacks!
Poms to win the Wugby World Cup!

Still a job game to go yet. SA have been playing well.

Could they be the first team to win the Rugby World game having lost a game in the tournament.

Or will England be the first team to win without a 100% record.

Yes
Considering sits as the 6th largest country in the world id say its anything but small especially compared to your country of origin which sits at 80th.

More than one way to define size.

That's was easier than I thought.

6th largest country in the world .....95% of it is useless, desert, dust, snakes & flies. Not much point to being the 6th largest then, is there?

True but you didn't define size, I suspect you were alluding to population but in general if you say size it refers to the physical size of something. Which size were you referring to?

Funny indeed, and they live here, eat our food, drink our beers.....
The POMS are a funny bunch, but what more did you expect from a country that voted to leave the EU over 3 years ago.... and still hasn't happened.

Credit where its due, and the POMS - what a year so far in the sporting arena for them.

Winners of the ICC World Cup, Rugby World Cup(should account for the springboks) and won the Ashes on home soil...... oh wait, they couldn't

Size in terms of Influence on the international stage. Small wasn't really fair, tiny is better.

Drink your beer? I thought you weren't australian.

Either way, I do my best to avoid your beer at all costs.

Leaving the EU, hopefully this election sorts all of that out.

People generally "holiday" for long periods only if they like the place.

You and GIAE must REALLY love it here.

Then no need to carry on, accept you're a small country and move on.

Cant argue that.

Although - we hold the ashes and have won 5 World Cups, football we will never really surpass you (in my lifetime anyway) but have at least recently won a championship in our confederation and as for rugby, currently we're at 2 WC wins to 1, so not bad for a "small country"

The current one is the most important.

Yes you have won a championship in your co federation but my old Sunday side could win one in Oceania.

england don't really win world cups they draw them
football 66 against west germany 2-2 full time needed extra time
rugby draw versus australia also a draw in normal time needed drop goal in extra time
cricket world cup tied with nz
I may not be perfect but I'm still the closest I have ever come across

It could be a different story this time- we shall see.
