Champions League 19/20

Post by Nice One Cyril »

Watching the Liverpool game but where are the Napoli fans? I would have thought that against the defending champions, first game up with all to play for, they'd have a full stadium, but it's half empty. That's pathetic support.

Liverpool just gone behind to a seriously soft penalty. Klopp will have plenty to moan about if they lose.

Normal.

Liverpool, if they scrape through group stage, more likely to win it again.

Apparently the lower tier is nearly always empty at Napoli, that what the commentary said.

Klopp moans less than you, and I don’t have to listen to him as much. So all is good. :-)

Anytime liverpool loses, its a good thing.
Saying that, they lost in Naples last year and still went on to win the Cup!

Tottenham Hotspur are the first English side to concede seven goals in any European competition since Spurs lost 0-8 to FC Koln in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in July 1995.

The 7-2 defeat was the biggest ever margin of defeat by an English team at home in European competition.

At least Poch has finally got a trophy

Spurs are going to have to enter the next transfer with a whole new defence the N0 1 target, this was the worst defending I've seen in years.
The older I get the better I was.

In all my life I have never seen a team with a whole new defence changed in one month.
Have you?

I offer a lot, you may not agree with it. But with your posts I highlight they are rubbish. It's not a case of disagreeing, just getting rubbish filtered out.

Sorry, playing golf and only just got to a computer. An embarrassing scoreline but, at 4-2 Poch went for attack and paid the price, seems like Bayern couldn't miss with some quality finishing. Am I right that the goal difference doesn't make any difference to the group as the head to head result is still the same, which might explain why he didn't worry about defending during the last 20 minutes, not that they'd defended well beforehand.

The only positive I can take from last night is that Gnabry is no longer a Goon

You are right, re goal difference. I am not sure the formation made much difference, giving the ball away was a big issue, and the apparent mental capitulation will be a worry to Poch.

He is even getting close to the stage when he can remember the past in detail but forgets what happens recently. :D
