Their 3rd goal was a beauty with a brilliant assist.
Germany 2, the Dutch 4.
Great game to watch and pleasing to see the Dutch giving it to Germany for a change.
The older I get the better I was.

Yeah, nah, yeah - rub it in, Bombs, away. I watched that listless performance. A lousy 3,000 “crowd” in the Olympic Stadium.Bomber wrote:Greece get a vital point versus …………...Lichtenstein??

Not really, I was expecting them to get 0 points last night.
Re: Euro 2020
Against England of course, but on the other hand i thought they would not put more than one in.

Re: Euro 2020
Always great to see a minnow struggling in qualifiers.
But England should progress out of the group with games away to Bulgaria & Kosova and home to Montenegro.

Re: Euro 2020
Watched an absolute gem of a game Tuesday morning. Ukraine 2, Portugal 1.
It had everything. And no racial abuse of Portugal’s black players either by the exuberant Ukrainian crowd.
Gotta hand it to Ronaldo too for reaching the 700-goal-total(!) milestone for clubs & Country.
Like him or loath him - that’s quite an achievement. Worked hard to improve since he was 19. Improved his heading power & shooting power to add to his sometime show-pony step-overs. Always looking to create space for himself. Shades Messi as the current best modern-day player IMO.
