There's one team out there with convicted cheats in it, it's not England.

Disappointing that we will have to win 4-1 now.

Match figures of 9/161 not bad for that spinner you have when you don’t have one.

So do England have a crack? Roy, Buttler and Stokes, surely you have to have a go?

385 from 540 balls.

I don't think they will change anything, but go about the run chase as normal.
They may decide to increase the run rate after lunch if still having plenty of wickets in hand.

what a great last day in the 1st test match.

Smith (hate him or love him) but he is in a different class above all others.
Broad the only bowler, so far that is the best IMO even for a cheat!
Why only single out Broad as a cheat?

So you agree then, thanks for playing.

What a Great day to wake up to if your an "aussie cricket" fan.
To beat the POMS in their backyard, on their "fixed" wicket.

I must that Woakes was the only batsmen to fight the Aussie onlslaught, and Anderson tried so valiantly lets hope he hasnt damaged his leg more than needed.
Foolish to put him out with the game already done.

Handy 1-0 lead and shows the importance of winning the toss. Last 2 days of test were all Australia. As for the umpiring, the less said the better.

You claim not to be australian, with that attitude you seem like you're French or Italian.

Fixed wicket? What makes you think that?

Seriously, you would think those umpires would be thinking... "No point actually making the right decision, as VAR will correct me if need be"!

The lbw decisions especially when nicking the bat were amazing

That's correct I am not an Aussie.

Of course the wickets are "fixed" or whats that name "doctoring a wicket"

Most nations do this, The Aussies used to provide a fast, high bouncing WACA wicket, The Indian's produced a very spin friendly wicket and the POMS provide a wicket where swing is evident on day 1.

You denying this happens?

Hold on, you think it's possible to produce a wicket where swing is evident

So you deny that "home sides" don't tweak pitches to suit their teams?

No, never denied that. It's home advantage.

Now, do you actually believe you can produce a wicket to induce swing? Because it would be hysterical if you did.

Bollocks. I assume all the fifth day crowd empty seats at Edgbaston were due to it being a work day?

You actually think australian fans are loyal and turn up through thick and thin.

The Day 5 ticket sales were disappointing but the army were still there and still loud. The game was also in the balance so can't say it was because they thought they'd lose.

That's almost as funny as Michael thinking you can doctor a wicket to produce swing.

Still given capacity is under 30k for the ground - and given how passionate the English are about their national teams - I would have thought it would have been closer to full than what it was.
The Army were also a lot quieter than previous days - they seemed to get louder the more wickets that fell!
That said it's only 1-0 and stil la long way to go this series

That's because they're pissed and probably their way of covering up their disappointment. Happens here when they get trounced (eg 4-0, 5-0 etc etc).
And I agree, it is only 1-0 but I'd rather be 1-0 up than 1-0 down!

So why do most football clubs crowds in England drop when they are relegated to a lower division?

How did he go in the World Cup? You know, in the semi final, in which you lost by 8 wickets? Belted by the World Champions, remember? Of course you do. Obviously you're still feeling it.

I'm English, just can't stand fellow countrymen sounding like knobs
352 Test wickets from 87 Tests now, only had 343 wickets from 86 Tests beforehand.
Wonder where those last 9 wickets came from ?
