I have seen many of those as red, yellow, and nothing. It was obviously an accident but not good.
Personally I don’t like the intent rule, for fouls or handball. It makes them too subjective.
Yeah but in the days when players ‘got away with them’, there was no VAR.
There is no intent rule for fouls and I just wonder what is the point of VAR if they don’t give decisions when they’re right there in front of them.

I hate to say this, but I agree with you. VAR has faults, why didn’t Salah get a penalty v Bayern when he stayed up when clearly fouled. I don’t get why so many things are missed . It’s frustrating.

Looks like Liverpool, Juve, Barca to make it, with City/Spurs the tough one to try and split.
We are not home yet by any mans. an early Porto goal and the pressure is on.
No-one is home by any means, but really, we have to lose 3-0 (or more) and I can't see it happening. We'll score at least one in the next leg and that should be enough.
shiraz me, what a match this morning, absolutely crazy stuff, but the Spurs go marching on.

Dry your eyes and explain why the slightest brush against his arm is handball? If he'd scored off his elbow you'd have a case, but he scored with his hip.

It was more handball than the PSG v UTD penalty that was given, some go your way and some don't. Ther was one angle that showed it, but for whatever reason it wasn't used, or the ref/VAR team made a mistke - it happens.
I am pleased Spurs won. a proper club run the corecct way, like the other English team in the semi finals.
In the European context should be an interesting couple of contests coming up in the semis, the battle of the yids and of course the tussle of the pretentious numpties. For the good of football barca to get smashed by Ajax in the final before the vultures swoop.

I thought you'd be pulling for a true North London club seeing as you've got a North London postcode as an alias

Ajax will have more time to prepare but could come back to bite them when their off the pace. The other game I can see Liverpools defence being under all sorts of pressure at the Nou Camp and their full backs defending will be exposed
Look I think it’s a bit early for spurs fans to be turning on Pochettino. Yes he wanted to go to Utd and of course his highly paid side were utterly outplayed by kids from a much weaker league last night but as long as they keep ‘getting it in the mixer’ next round they have some sort of a chance.

It was very clear that their lack of squad depth is a problem but, unlike the Woolwich, they're not out of it yet.
I do however feel a bit sorry for Llorente. Pochettino wants him to play like Kane or Son but he's not that sort of player and IMO the coach should play to his strengths, rather than ask him to be something he's not and it might also have negated their high press. It might be ugly football but it's not a beauty contest.

Without Kane/Son Spurs still should have matched Ajax on the day,the first 20 mins were some of the worst i have seen Spurs play ever.I am expecting a cracker of a game in Barcelona tonight.
