Sad picture in todays paper of Sala's dog sitting at the door looking waiting for him to come home.

They have found the plane and one body.

Wreckage from a plane carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala has been been discovered in the English Channel , what an awful tragedy.
Did you know him?

Face it, thousands of non famous people die every hour, it’s just how life and death is. If they’re friends or family, you should be sad, otherwise this faux grief and virtue signaling means bugger all. I bet Gary Lineker is distraught.

I personally didn't know him, but a tragedy occurred and an innocent life has been taken too young.
(Some people are grieving)
The fact that some see this a "humour" just proves their personality or schadenfreude!

Two Saints supporters ( idiots ) arrested for making plane gestures towards Cardiff supporters , let’s hope Southampton give them lengthy bans.

Football's sanitisation is now ridiculous.

Sala's body has been identified as the person found in the wreckage. Sad but not surprising.

And the body was found in the back of the plane so, unless the pilot went back for a smoke, it wasn’t hard to work it out.

Why? Are footballers more important than pilots?

Its going to be interesting on what's going to happen with the transfer fee between Nantes and Cardiff - $15Million I believe is what Nantes still want.

Sensitive issue but it will need addressing at some stage in the future.

Are there any types of insurances that address this? Bottom line, Nantes should still claim the fee.

Good point - and there is also the player agent fees in all this that may require sorting out. It could be a tangled web here.

Nantes are owed the money. No debate needed.

Cardiff would have insurance on this, all players are insured for whatever reason they can no longer play. However, was the pilot paid to fly him?.If yes, then the insurance may be void.
