And the fourth goal had an obvious handball in the build up

Yet the ref didn’t give a handball against palace and gave them a free kick in another incident. Decisions like that are not luck, it’s the game. I more stand by the third being lucky, having said that it was a GK howler more than anything.Nice One Cyril wrote:And the fourth goal had an obvious handball in the build up

I agree that decisions are part of the game, but did the Palace one lead to a goal? No, so it’s luck that you get a decision in your favour at a crucial time. Teams that are flying generally do seem to get the fortune to go with their good play and Liverpool are not alone in that, it’s also part of the game. City’s first was a deflection, their second was offside, it’s just how it goes.Back for Christmas wrote:Yet the ref didn’t give a handball against palace and gave them a free kick in another incident. Didn't you get lucky to qualify in the CL (PSV)? I can't believe you are talking about luck. You are coming across as a bitter old man, you are usually only 50% of that......Nice One Cyril wrote:I agree that decisions are part of the game, but did the Palace one lead to a goal? New Coach, 37 year old Jan Seiwert from Borussia Dortmund. Huddersfield have been in contact with Siewert for nearly 2 years as a succession plan for David Wagner.swannsong wrote:I'm not sure David Wagner's departure will lift the spirits at Huddersfield in a similar way that Mourhino's departure did at United.ozzie owl wrote:David Wagner has left as Huddersfield manager.

I think it may even lower morale.....thankfully Town only have Manchester City first up
The Club knew David Wagner might be lured away due to his initial impact and success in gaining promotion and had a succession plan in case that might happen.
Although Wagner's departure is under different circumstances, Huddersfield have followed up on that succession plan.

I’m loving this Sarri ball stuff that Chelsea are playing, it couldn’t happen to a nicer oligarch.

Plain and simple, Yes!! & we are forcing a player out like Rambo - who loves the club & doesnt want to leave to keep the likes of Ozil around. Unfortunately, nobody will match Ozil wages so me thinks we will be stuck with him until this contract runs outrealfootballman wrote:On the topic of Ozil - do you think he's stealing a living at Arsenal?

Just has to be some dopey club in China daft enough to take him. Ozil is not my cup of tea as a footballer or as a person but he is just one of many current Arsenal players I would very much like to see in a tottenham shirt next season. your problem now is his ridiculous wages mean only a few clubs in the World could afford him, he’ll run down his contract and leave on a free.N5 1BH wrote:Just has to be some dopey club in China daft enough to take him. I wonder if he is part of the problem, like Phil was with us. The club knows he is off, and it's causing unrest/disharmony amongst the playing side of the club?
Or are Chelsea just rubbish at times!

Re: England - 2018-19 EPL (formerly the 2017-18 EPL thread)
Sacking Jose Mourinho before Christmas cost Manchester United £19.6million, the Premier League club has revealed in its second-quarter financial results.
That sum, which is listed under "exceptional items" in the accounts, includes pay-outs for the five members of his staff who left with him on December 18.
It is less than was initially reported in some quarters but four times the amount United had to pay predecessors David Moyes and Louis van Gaal when they were fired in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
Jose certainly is a money machine.
