As a disabled person, I wish him well - I bear no grudges against him, unlike some on this forum.
The older I get the better I was.

Well said OM. I thought his views that caused the furore were distinctly odd but weren't at all malicious. Great player and a decent coach too. Get well soon Hod !

I await an answer, but think this will get added to Old Master's unanswered questions thread though.

GIAE hasn't even asked a question yet and he's claiming I haven't answered him - I think he's going senile.

To answer Bomber's question, I think you will find that the above-mentioned person is the one who bears Hoddle ill, as he always used to attack me, using Hoddle as the 'weapon'.

Firstly, I never once said you hadn't answered my question (in this thread), have a read of it again.

I have never once said I hold any bad blood to Glen Hoddle. I don't think he should have lost the England job and I think he was a fantastic footballer that we should have built a team around him.

He was a truly gifted player who although he won 53 caps he never truly established himself in the national side.

Michele Platini famously claimed that had Hoddle been born French 'he would have won 150 caps'. As Jean-Luc Ettori, Monaco's club captain at the time, recently put it: 'For us Glenn was le bon dieu - he was a god. There's nothing else to say.
